The spaghetti squash and meatballs were a hit. I also tossed a couple apples in the air fryer (used the bake function) with oatmeal/br sugar/cinnamon crumble on top for dessert. They were really good but they could have used some vanilla ice cream.

Ugggg Sunday night again. Feels like I just said that, like what, yesterday ::giggles::

Hope you all had a peaceful day!! Sweet dreams
Good evening and good night Sara

Yes I’m pretty sure it was just Sunday a day or so ago

    Good evening lurkers

Hope you all had a nice day! Grilled cheese with a slice of deli turkey and a salad for dinner. Didn’t want to walk but I did. Lost my “home” glasses. Apparently I left them outside on the table yesterday afternoon  I was about to give up when I remembered they were falling off my head so I put them on the table. Oy vey! What a Monday!! Lololol.

    Sweet dreams

    Good morning!

Sunday we used the new pressure washer and it was terrific. Ken did the whole front of the house and the front steps sidewalk. I have never seen it that clean. I used it a little bit on the sidewalk. Then I squirted off the Honda. I learned you don't pressure wash the pin strip on a vehicle.
    1laugh.gif
I just removed a tiny bit. Oops. But it did a fantastic job on the body and tires. I also had some heavy chairs that I would not sit in because they had mold growing all over them. They look brand new. Yay!

After working hard, Ken wanted to go to the Double D Saloon because they have live music so we jumped on the bike and went. Had a wonderful time. I had been there before but this is the first time I had ever played Cornhole. Ken couldn't hardly get me to quit. I found out that he can juggle too. He took 3 of the little Cornhole bags and was impressing everyone. I tried but quickly dropped one. I am not coordinated at all. He told me to get some tennis balls and try again. I might, although juggling has never been on my bucket list. Cornhole was so I got to check off another one. YAY!

Ken was actually born in North Carolina and he needed to get a certified copy of his birth certificate to get his real ID license. We took the bike. It was a little over 200 miles. He made a couple of stops thank goodness because I was sad to find out that my sciatica acted up on the bike too. I did not think it would since I am so comfortable. I am hoping it was just because we worked outside the day before. Who knows? Oh well, he has to stop for a cigarette, drink, or potty all the time and it works out well for me. I happily vape on the back.
    1YES.gif
I keep letting him take a toot of mine. I would love it if he started vaping. He coughs every time and I keep telling him that will go away. I will not harp at him on smoking but I might a little bit about the cost of cigarettes. Sheesh! I am so grateful that I do not smoke. He spends more in one day than I do the whole year.

He wanted to go out to eat last night but I told him I'd rather go home and eat. He had a quick dinner. Salad, loaded baked potato, and a grilled cheese. I just ate a salad because I had half a hot dog and fries for lunch when he stopped at Snoopy's. heehee I would have eaten the whole thing but it was one of those red hotdogs and I prefer all beef.

Ken said we were just going to take it easy today. He said I was always doing something and I needed to learn to relax once in a while. We will see. I am going to try but he is right, I am always doing something.

Tomorrow we are going to head to Johnson City, TN. He is going to get his license renewed and that was the closest DMV. Maybe I should take it easy today and rest up for the trip with my leg. It is only 169 miles. I need to get used to it because we are going back to visit his family soon and that is around 400 miles. I'm a rambling rat!

Well, you are all caught up on my escapades. (sorry) I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I am going to R E L A X! Maybe. I have already done 1 load of wash and I have two more. heehee

Was supposed to relax yesterday but that never seems to work out for me. Changed sheets, washed clothes, made tea, fixed tuna fish for lunch, fixed a pizza for supper, and walked 8 miles. Sheesh!

Wish I had not walked so much. It rained last night and I could not get comfy to sleep. Also got cooler which always makes it worse. Finally got to sleep and woke up from drainage choking me. I hate it when I get choked. It scares me. And Ken slept right through it. Oh well, this too shall pass!
    Praying.gif
I am also grateful that there is no more rain predicted for this week. (sorry dale)

As far as I know, we are still planning on going to Johnson City, TN today. Ken said since my leg was bothering me (and now my knee) that we were not going to take the bike. Drats. I wanted to. I told him I would be fine but it is probably the right decision.

Hope everyone has a great day! Hugs to all.

    Good afternoon ladies

I’m siding with Ken and Dale. Definitely not the time for a two wheeled adventure. ;) Sorry your dealing with sinuses.

Waiting for Dh and kiddo to get home. They had to run to the school for soccer pic retakes. Apparently the studio “lost” his teams photos.

Hope you all had a great day!!

    Good morning lurkers

Definitely, Dale. I wish the school would go through a different studio. Just checked the website and jv soccer must not have been the only one that was lost. More pics have been added but still not his team. Maybe today! We had problems with them 2 years ago as well. (I promise, I’m not being a Karen ;))

Hope everyone has a great day!

Got back home this afternoon. We had a very pleasant trip. I enjoyed the scenery even if it was in the Honda. The trees are just starting to change. We are planning to go back to TN to see his family again soon and I am looking forward to it. The leaves should be in fuller color then. Hopefully, it will not be too chilly to take the bike.

He got his license renewed and we ate a bunch of good stuff. I may skip weighing in the morning.

heehee Did not do any touristy things but we did go to listen to a man sing. He played the acoustic and electric guitar and also played the piano. He knew a bunch of songs because people were requesting them and he would play them with no effort at all. I admire people who can play and sing.

I went down to my aunts and she told me when she was mowing today, she backed into the imitation rock that covers her well. I went to look at it and there was water puddled all over the place. Ken finally found the fuse that cut the water pump off (nothing was marked). Ken told her it broke a pipe off and he would be glad to fix it but she wanted her well man to look at it so he is coming tomorrow. She felt so bad about doing it. I tried to make her feel better by reminding her how I hit the clothesline the second time I drove Dad's lawn mower. Accidents happen but I know how she feels. Bless her heart. I had her laughing before I left her though.

It was Bike Night at the bar Ken has taken me to a bunch. I was rather disappointed because they did not have a band tonight or played any games. Not sure why. They did have chicken wings. I swear free food tastes better.

Happy Fri-YAY eve. Hope everyone has a great day.
