Good evening everyone  Happy NYE!! :toast:

Awww. Hope your visit with Bela was nice! Crazy how fast these kiddo’s are growing up.

Definitely stinks to be sick. I now have the beginnings of a regular cold. That will be nice to go back to work with. Tried my best to keep the NYE tradition going for kiddo. Mini party with mom/dad and my brother/sil stopped in on their home from the Bill’s game despite the germs. Early ball drop and now I’m in bed, don’t think I’ll make it to midnight.

Hope everyone had a great day!

    Good morning lurkers

Unfortunately me either, since it’s back to work today ;) Good thing it’s only 4 days.

Hope everyone has a great day!
    Good morning Sara
‘I’m sorry you have to go back to work today :(. Think I’m finished at the shop. Good thing too since it’s 27 degrees at the moment and not supposed to get out of the 40’s today.

Good morning Dale and lurkers

For good or for the season, Dale?

    Have a great day!
I never know Sara, every year I say I won’t go back and then I do. But yeah I’m pretty sure this season is done.

Well, the little Rat has returned from her 6th visit to Tennessee! We got in around 1 this morning. It was a very long drive back. My back and sciatica were bothering me, so Ken had to stop more often for me to walk around.

Had a wonderful Christmas with his Dad, daughter, her hubby, and his granddaughter, although we did not see her very much. I guess she is at the age where she stays in her room most of the time. I remember when my daughter did.

We had a very quiet New Year's Eve and that is exactly what I wanted. I did not want to go out and be in a crowd. Ken made a big pot of his chili that I really like and we just stayed in. It was wonderful and a great way to start the new year off.

For the first time, I came home and did not immediately start getting all the wash done. It is still in there sorted and waiting for me. I told Ken I would get around to doing it all but after that, he could be responsible for doing his own laundry. I loved that idea when I read that was what Sara did. If it upset Ken, it was not noticeable. He said that was fine. I told him my New Year's resolution was to start eating like I used to, get back to the gym, stop trying to do everything for him, and of course, drink more water. That one is on my list every year. In fact, I have a list of the always-included resolutions. I just change the year and look at it occasionally.

We went to Sam's to fill up and pick up my prescriptions. They are so nice to check with GoodRX to see if it is cheaper than with using my Sam's Plus only. Without having insurance, I try to save where I can. Today, one of them was cheaper and it saved me $20. I'll take it.

I really liked Ken's travel camper. I did spend some time cleaning. It has been a long time since he used it and I probably cleaned somethings that he never did. heehee He definitely needs a couch. We used my two camp chairs that I took from home but they are not comfy. In fact, I sort of think that added to my back issues. I will admit that the bathroom is TINY. Ken fit in the shower but since he said I would have to hurry because the warm water would run out. Mrs. Rochelle, (the one he rents where he parts his camper), told me I could use the apartment that we had stayed in before. Told me to make myself at home so I went over there to shower. Worked out nicely. Ken showered in the camper because he barely stays long enough to get wet.

Iove long, hot showers. It makes me and my joints quite content.

It will probably be February before we go back so I will be home for a while. I need to get busy on packing up and getting rid of stuff. I would like to get a bunch of it done before warm weather gets here and I do not want to stay in.

Miss you all and am glad to back (sort of). I really was not ready to come home yet.

    Happy Fri-Yay!!!!
