That's certainly easy to do these days. Eggs at Aldi went up to $2.96. Walmart likes to scam. I know better and I still fell for it. Shelf said 18 eggs were $2.70, register said otherwise ($4.12) I know in the end it was a savings. But it makes me mad. I shouldn't have to go hunt down one of those price check thingy's to make sure their prices are accurate. :glare:

Got home and slipped getting out of the car, landed on my keister. I'm ok but will probably be sore tomorrow. Put groceries away and then went out and shoveled. Got 4500 steps in. Brrr it's dang cold out there. And it's supposed to snow 4-6 more inches tonight into tomorrow.

Off to go eat my expensive eggs.

The egg "shortage" reminds me of many BS stories that have made passage. Here's a comic I made for the TP shortage back then.

I hear ya there. Bird flu supposedly and I think I remember reading somewhere a fire. But there's so much of that everywhere now days, I could be remembering something else.

I hope so too, Joey. Hope you get some time to just relax. You definitely need some down time.

Chinese for dinner. I'm off to watch a movie. Sweet dreams lurkers

Yay! We arrived safely to his daughters. She had to go to work about 30 minutes after we got here. She will get off at 7 in the morning, come home, and go to bed. She works all the time. She is a smart girl and I like her.

I saw snow on the mountain tops and we stopped at a rest area where snow was on the ground. Several kids were playing in it. I wanted to join them.

    I refrained.

Isn't today your son's birthday Dale? I could be wrong. I am always putting stuff on my Google Calendar. If it is, happy birthday to him. If it is not, oops.

We will be at his daughters for a couple of days. His dad lives with her so it is nice that Ken gets to spend some time with him. At least I have internet here.

Not sure what today felt like but it was not feeling like Saturday to me. My days are all mixed up. Just like me!

    Good morning Dale

Happy Birthday to your son! Thank you for breakfast and quote. I'd sure love that view vs what I have  About 6 inches. Dh snowblowed before he left for NYC, but I went out and "finished" lolol Got 4600 steps in. Only 5400 more to go and I will have succeeded in hitting 10k+ every day this week. First time ever since tracking my steps

    Hope everyone is staying warm!

We stayed up late and slept late today. Ken's dad said he wouldn't mind having a biscuit. So we took him and Ken's granddaughter (who is 10) to Waffle House. No one ate biscuits though. I ate the senior waffle and the waitress came by and asked if I wanted a free waffle. Now what do you think I said?

It is against all I believe in to turn down anything free. So I am stuffed.

I went to the doctor and was told I was in labor and would have Zach that day. I held out until the next day just like I told the doctor I would. I was not going to have a child born on Halloween and April Fool's Day, so I had Zach on the 2nd. My daughter was born on Halloween day in 1986.

Gosh, that seems like another lifetime ago.

We went to WallyWorld because I needed some Dayquil and Ken needed some taller socks. It is a beautiful day. Only 50 but sunny and it feels wonderful. I took a short walk but have not gotten my steps in. 4000 is better than nothing.

Ken and his dad is watching TV. Who knew they played the old Bob Barker Price Is Right shows? Sheesh! It is kind of funny to see how the prices of things have changed since then.

We are supposed to take his family out to a steak house tonight. I'm still full from the late breakfast so I may just get a salad. We are leaving tomorrow morning for Ken's place. I'm ready. It is so quiet there. I need some chillin' by the Duck River.

How funny and I agree it’s felt like another time since the kids were little.

I remember how much you love the little cabins by the water :)

Had an apple and a pork chop for supper, it was sufficient.
