Good morning Joey  I agree! What happened? :?:
    Hiya Dale

Every other day they do sanitation, usually we shut down at 2am. Last night they shut down at 12a because the company bought us lunch. I appreciated the food, it was good. 6 hours with nothing to do sucks

Well I definitely understand that, some of my worst days at the shop were like that. Thankfully it didn’t happen often.

To all the father’s, present and lurking in the group ;) Hope you all have an amazing day!

Yeah, I agree, it stinks when you can’t do anything but sit there. 6 hours is a long time.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Good morning and a happy Father's Day to the dads. I have had another hectic week but got so much accomplished. 3 huge truckloads went to the garbage dump. It felt good to do something positive around my house. It is a shame it was not stuff on the inside. Dad had a pile of old lawnmowers, metal, and stuff I did not know what it was but it is gone now.

Perry had a friend come over and diagnose why my lawnmower blade stopped turning. It was the clutch. The lawn and garden place where Dad bought the mower wanted $655 for this part but Perry's friend found the exact part on Amazon for $261. That is a pretty good saving. It was not supposed to come in until Tuesday the 18th but it was on my doorstep yesterday so Perry installed it for me. It runs better than it ever did. It is so much quieter when engaging the blades.

I went to check on my truck that was in the shop because of the brakes and he still had not gotten the part. He said he had found the part he needed for $200. But his big mistake was he had called me and told me the part was going to be $500 and wanted to know if I still wanted it. He was going to $300 off of me. Grrrr Stuff like that makes me so mad. He had put on a new master cylinder to see if the one Perry had put on was a dud (which I did not approve of) but he was going to charge me labor to put my master cylinder back on. I really had no choice but he charged me $399 and my truck is still doing the same thing. I will never go back to that man again. Well anyway, the man who diagnosed my lawnmower said he would fix it so it is at his house right now and I am keeping my fingers crossed. He saved me on the lawnmower so I hope he can do the same thing with my truck. Always something.

I have enjoyed staying busy but I need to get back to my own little routine. I am inspired to get back to work on getting my house cleaned out. I still have not gotten back to the gym but believe me, I've been lifting and moving so I have been getting a good workout.

    Hugs to all!!!!
