It was in the teens when I woke up. Now we are up to 26. Brrrr

I made poached eggs for breakfast and used the last of the fried potatoes. I love the sausage Perry gets fresh from one of his friends. So much better than what I get in the store. He just put in for his next order for more sausage and chops. I think he may have gotten a tenderloin too. I do love the meat in his freezer!

Perry is not working today (Yay) but he is sitting beside me sleeping. Bless his heart. He went to sleep as soon as the movie came on last night too. He is working too hard. Eleven and twelve-hour days are tough on him (and me too, heehee). What I do not like is having to cook and eat so late. Not good to go to bed with a full tummy.

Nothing planned for the day and that's ok too. Hope everyone is having a great Saturday.

Good morning everyone :)

Cold here as well, supposed to get another 3 inches but at least the roads are clear, we did our grocery shopping early. It will all be gone by next week when it rains and is in the 40s.

Dale, I hope they would have accommodations for the hearing impaired. It might be easier than you think.

Joey, enjoy your weekend. Dinners sound fabulous. We are doing steak sandwiches tonight and meatball subs tomorrow.

Rat2, you are so right about the cost. I prefer contacts because I can easily wear stylish sunglasses and it's nice to use peripheral vision without turning your head. But I do take them out periodically on the weekends to give my eyes a rest. It's getting hard to read close up so now I have to use readers. I hope Perry can get some relief soon.

Hope you all have a blessed Saturday!

That's pretty much me too. I used to wear readers all the time but I hated them because they had to match my outfit (one of my little idiosyncrasies). I had a whole drawer full.

The doctor said he could make it so I did not have to use them and he did. The distance vision is not as good but does not cause a problem for me. I wanted to try monovision where one eye is for close-up and one for far. The doctor said I was not a candidate. I had my left eye operated on when I was 5 and it is weaker so I use my right the most. Too much info.

Oh well, they still cost too much and we're still gonna buy em'.

Good afternoon everyone , you all sound nice and cheerful
I don’t have much to say, just got off work an hour earlier today as Randy was going to the rodeo. His girls compete.

Sara it’s pretty hard to get interpretation here , even the hospitals don’t provide like they are supposed to.

Good morning Dale and lurkers

Getting ready to prep a rack of baby back ribs tomorrow put on the smoker. Did grocery shopping online just waiting for the order to be delivered.

Might have to head up to walmart to see if they will give me the script for my vision. I need to order some glasses. Hope everyone has a great Sunday

Good afternoon Joey  If I ever do get a new eye prescription I’ll be using Walmart too, other places are just too expensive!

I know those ribs will be great!
I’ll have to grocery shop sometime this week myself.

    Hi Fran
I did my house chores today but still haven’t started wrapping the Christmas gifts we have, I put it off longer and longer every year it seems.
Since I live with my daughter now I keep up with the wrapping.

We are having weird weather. Almost 70 today but rainy. Yuck! I have felt bad the last couple of days. We are supposed to have hard rains tomorrow. Oh yay! I have my doctor's appointment.

I have called a couple of places and no one wants to work on a 16-year-old Bosch washing machine. They said they could not get the parts. I think it is a belt and I find it hard to believe they can't find one. I'm not sure if I should give up and buy one or keep trying. I really don't mind bringing my wash to Perry's and doing laundry. It is always something!!!!

I am waiting for Perry to call and tell me when he is coming home. Going to have another late supper tonight. Parmesan crusted pork chops. I hope they are good. I am so hungry that it doesn't matter because I'll eat them.

I went to the grocery store today and looked at my ticket and they did not charge me for the dishwashing liquid. I went back in to the store and paid for it. That has been happening a bunch lately. I think I am being tested. I passed.

There are a bunch of things that I can do but. . . wrapping a simple box is not one of them. They had me in mind when they started selling gift bags. View attachment 1021855
I can wrap them I just don’t enjoy it anymore.

Sorry to hear that about your washer, everyone wants us to buy something new these days, repair is difficult now for several reasons.

Hope Perry gets home soon, it’s getting late!
