Good evening everyone

Good morning lurkers :) Happy Saturday to you all.

Not sure what will happen today but we really need to see our friend Ronnie as he seems to be nearing the end. It’s hard for me to comprehend, I expected my parents to pass but this feels different :(
Sorry to hear about your friend :nun:

Good evening Rat2, Sara and Joey.

We did go see our friends and he is not doing well

Going to be busy Monday catching up with the house but we’ll be gone to church most of Sunday so it can’t be helped. Sure looking forward to a quieter week where I don’t have to leave every single day!

    Good morning lurkers :)

    Good evening everyone

Weekends go by so fast, didn’t get anything done at all.
At this time I have to totally agree with you Joey. I had been retired long enough to forget how quickly a weekend can pass compared to a long work week. Getting everything done that’s needed is almost impossible in the time frame and still allow the body to rest and recoup.

    Good evening everyone

Work has taken away overtime for the next 2 months, maybe even longer. Will not know until we start production up in June. Was hoping that wouldn’t happen for the pack season. I wanted to pay my truck off so the only payment I have would be the house. Oh well it is a good thing I can survive off my 40 hour pay check :thumb:

Hope everyone is doing well

Hi Joey. 40 hours is plenty to work, you need more downtime. I can’t imagine trying to pay for a house and vehicle monthly in our current environment, I feel for you. :(

    Hiya Dale

Sorry about your friend passing away :nun:

I can afford my payments and other bills and food. I’m not really worried right now.

Keeping you and your friends in my thoughts and prayers, Dale. I am so sorry for your loss.

I agree that working 40 hours a week makes it challenging to stay on top of everything and have time for yourself.

One more day for me and then I have an extra long weekend. Looking forward to it.

    Thanks guys for your condolences.

Good day at work but my back disagrees, pretty sure it’s the weather pressure as it’s high. We’re having lots of sunshine with fluctuating temperatures but storms are returning this weekend.

Congratulations on your upcoming long weekend Sara!

Did something new last night. Perry took me to a coffee/beer shop that two of our Moose member run and they were having Music Bingo. It was a lot of fun. We were meeting two other Moose members there and I really liked them.

I actually won one of the games. I got a big metal flower. Perry said we could put it on his mom's grave because she loved flowers. The couple we were with won also and she gave me their prize. My behind did not really need the huge container of Cheese Balls but it has been years since I had any and they were delicious.

Met another one of Perry's good friends. He was so funny. Several years ago he was crushed by a bull and after a 15 hour operation, he is mostly titanium. Talk about a lucky man. I also liked him because he makes ice cream on his cow farm and sells it. He makes a bunch of different flavors and said his favorite and a big seller was Paw Paw ice cream. I had heard of that from an old nursery rhyme or something but did not know it was a real fruit. Sheesh! I've lived a sheltered life. I had to put something else on my Bucket List. Am I the only one that did not know about the Paw Paw fruit?

Oh, well. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

I said I was not going to do it but, I went back to Walmart today. Perry said we needed glass jars for our salsa canning project this weekend.

To be honest, it was not that bad today. I think that is because I did not have any questions or need any help.

Perry's leftover hamburgers he grilled last night, is going to be added to some shrimp I took out of the freezer. I guess that is surf and turf. Sounds good to me anyway. I am eating so bad. All I've had today is jellybeans and cheeseballs. How's that for a diet? Sheesh! And I have not even been to the gym this week. I think I am going to stay home by myself next week and get back to my old routine before I gain all the weight I lost.

Did my weedeating at Perry's this afternoon so he can mow this weekend. Because of the pollen (which is terrible this year here) I came in and jumped into the shower to get it off. I hope it helps. It couldn't hurt. I was hoping the rain we had got rid of it but, nope. It's here. I hate that I have never been bothered by it and now I am.

Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful night.
