Remember when my friend Sharon died after Christmas. I was so worried about her hubby. Now I am even more worried. I just read on FB that his son passed away. OMgosh. this is starting to be depressing. Guess I will be going to another funeral. I don't like it. Not one bit.

    Good evening lurkers

Sorry for the loss of Ken's dad, Rat2. I would have sent cards also.

Had a nice staycation and Easter with family. First time in 10ish years that we didn't host and it was a nice change. Sounds like everyone here had a nice holiday. :)

Hope you all get the much needed rain. We've had lots of storms, wind and a couple tornado warnings over the last week. But it's warm, yahoooo!! I'll take it. Dh was out of town last week. So happy when he returned.

Have a great evening everyone
    Hi Sara.
Glad you had a nice staycation, I’m having one this week ;)

Yes, it is Friday again. Cloudy with chance of rain and thunderstorms again today. They say April showers bring May flowers and my peonies are just about ready to open.

Nothing exciting going on today and that is okay with me. I could easily just lay here in bed and watch a movie.

    Happy Friday all!

Good evening Rat2. Hope you enjoyed your day, it’s about over now. We have Bela this weekend but she and papaw are gone to game night at the church right now.

Have a great night everyone.

I know she is having a ball. And Papaw is too.

It was a good day. When to eat lunch at Applebee's with my ex sister-in-law. They have an delicious Oriental Salad with grilled chicken in it. I loved it. Then we went shopping. I haven't done that in forever. And I did not buy any shoes.

Came to Perry's and we went to the Moose. They had fried flounder with bacon mac&cheese, slaw and hushpuppies. Pretty tasty too. They had a DJ tonight and they were playing old disco and beach music. I enjoyed it but it was not Perry's fav. He held my hand for the first time in public and it only took him 358 days.

It was only for a minute or so. No biggie.

Made another donation at the poker machines. It was sad. I think this made the fifth donation. It was his money so i did not mind. It was fun though. I am not sure but other than the kids, I think I am the only one there that does not drink. I don't mind. They have good sweet tea.

Well that is my exciting day and night. Not bad for me. I did buy a pair of shorts and a couple tee shirts for me and two shirts for Perry. Since I have gained 30 lbs, I need some new summer clothes. It makes me so sad that I cannot wear the cute ones I wore when I was with Ken. Oh well, I am trying to lose it. So much easier (and fun) to put it back on.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Good afternoon Dale, Rat2 and Joey

Oh my goodness, so many losses :( Keeping you guys in my thoughts.

Glad you had a staycation too, Dale. Enjoy Bela this weekend.

Worked for 4 hours this morning. So I've earned another comp day. Yay!

Feel your pain, Rat2, had to do some summer shopping myself. Went into the store and couldn't find anything, so i ordered some stuff online (we had a couple of Kohl's gc's) Should arrive Wednesday and hopefully I won't have to return much. i hate not being able to try stuff on.

Awww, have fun with the baby, Joey.

    Have a great afternoon

    Good afternoon everyone

Not much planned for the weekend, need to get some lawn mowing and weed removal done. Also going to go see Dana's baby boy he is about a month old now.
Oh ho! Howdy grandpa! Congratulations ;)

Can y’all believe Kalli is 4 now?!

Hi Sara. Working on a Saturday now eh? What’s a comp day?

Have I told you guys that we just found out Bela has high cholesterol? I’ve never known a young kid to have that problem. :(

    Good afternoon, Dale

Oh, my goodness, how did I forget, sorry Grandpa Joey  Congrats and I hope you had a fun visit.

I refuse to believe Kalli is 4 already, sheesh. That is odd about Bela. Do they know why? :(

My work week is 35 hours, because it's not a full 40 we do not get overtime. If we go over the 35, we can get paid straight time for it or bank the hours to use later. I've always banked it because who wouldn't love extra time off. At the end of the year the hours carry over if you don't use them. Kinda nice and it really was when we had to work late on Thursdays. But now that we aren't open late anymore my comp time is mostly gone. They opened the office two weeks ago and then again yesterday to prepare for changes coming and I volunteered to work. Being offered the extra time is few and far between these days.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday!

Good afternoon Sara. About Bela I’m guessing a diet heavy in pasta and genetics.
At least Lupin is extending our baby time … not that I’ve seen him much. Did see him today as we dropped off Kalli’s birthday present after church, little bugger already has 2 teeth!

So basically instead of getting overtime pay you get extra time off that adds up :thumb:

Good evening Dale and Joey

Yes, it would be nice if the work week went by quicker.

Yup, so far I've accumulated 2 extra days. I'll probably aim for a full week between now and my retirement before I use any of it lolol That's like 7 years from now.

Two teeth, a 4 year old, a month old and a kiddo who finished driver's ed. Boy do these kids grow fast. Now to figure out when he wants to road test. Then we'll have another driver in the household and our insurance will probably triple

Sounds like some severe weather is on the way tomorrow, hope it holds off til I get home from work. Enjoy the rest of your evening

    Good evening lurkers :)

Made it home but it is super windy. I think the weathermen talked a big game. We are under a t-storm watch til 10. Guess that's ok. lol

Now the real test is coming.....can he pass the road test. It's scheduled for next week. Fingers crossed, sorta LOLOL! Of course I want him to pass but I'm a little nervous at how much our insurance will go up.

    Have a great evening :)

Good evening Sara :). Yeah weather reports have been saying rain for us for the past two weeks and we’ve yet to see much of it.

I’m sure kiddo will ace the road test ;)
