I don’t mind at all, I just had to mess with him a bit lol I couldn’t resist! Nearly everyone I’ve encountered on Discord at first meet assumes I’m male as well lol; I blame my sense of humor and sailors mouth.:p Though I suppose the censors here keep me uncharacteristically in line lol!
Me neither, sometimes it helps keep the crazies away lols.

Whew! I'm beat. Long day of training today, and the rest of the week will be even more fun. This week's training is pretty much boilerplate to meet state requirements. Next week the real fun begins when we start doing "what if" scenarios. There are 50 of us and we've got a pretty danged good crew.

I'm part of the security detail for one of the local school districts. We're currently training to get our level 1 active shooter response certification (the same training all police officer's in the state are supposed to receive). All of our scenarios deal with active shooters in a school environment. It's pretty intense, but at the same time, extremely satisfying as we're amping up to meet any scenario that we may confront in a school setting. We're not 3rd party security, either. We work for the school district.

Hey retired1, I was glad to have a fellow Samsung lover but now. . . you are interesting as all get out. What an exciting job. It is sad that this training is needed but glad there are people like you that want to make a difference. My dad retired from the Police Dept and he was a fourth generation cop. That was where it ended because he absolutely refused to let me go into that field. But I do have my cc and I love to shoot.

I know I drive people crazy with all my little emoji's but I have always loved using them. I download them into my Google Drive and just attach them. That is the easiest for me.

I have a bunch of this little girl. I think it is because I used to where pigtails.

They finally came to do the tree trimming and stump grinding. Only took them 2 hours. Not bad for $1700. Sheesh! It does look good, but I asked them to pull their trucks along the fence line since we have had so much rain. They did not listen to me, they put some awful ruts in my yard. I am not sure if I should call them and complain or not. They probably will not do anything. Perry said we can get some dirt to fill them in.

Perry is still not feeling well. I want him to call the doctor tomorrow. I am not sure if he is dizzy because his blood pressure is running low or if he is having Vertigo. Of course, it could be anything. I'll try to get him to call tomorrow. He went to bed early tonight. I am tired but not sleepy. Seems weird to be watching tv alone. Weird but sort of nice.

    Happy Hump Day to all!

    Good morning lurkers :)

Hey Rat2. That’s awful what they did to your yard, I agree that they won’t do anything about it though. You sure have beautiful grass .

I hope Perry does go to the doctor and they can help him feel better.
