At least it will be quiet

Eh, it wasn't really too bad of a start...at least I have experience in all of it...just a matter of learning how they do things, but at least we had already done some payrolls yesterday, so it wasn't so bad today...and I was able to text the girl with any questions so that helped.

The dog is a peek-a-poo (at least that's what they think she is)...she's adorable and so loving and a really good girl...she does what you tell her to, so she's kind of nice to have around...much better than a screaming kid!

And this week has gone way better than my first week when I first started with the lawyer...on my first day with her, I met her at the office, she let me in, showed me my desk and then promptly ran off to court for most of the day...left to figure out things on my own.

Nah, I didn't think of it as taking advantage, she really didn't know it was going to take that long to get her mom transferred..and I love animals, so it was a delight for me...as for the rest of it, it's all part of the job, so it doesn't bother me.

Oh, I wish you and Dale were both here for beef and noodles. I didn't have as much beef as I thought I did, so it was kind of skimpy, but there was enough to make it work.

I don't like to just sit around either.

Heading off to clean up the kitchen and go soak.

It'd be nice to sit and visit over a meal! That's the sad part, never get to just hang out and enjoy each others company!

Angel, sounds like things are going just fine there!! You sound extremely flexible, adaptable...and HELPFUL, not everyone would have such a great attitude. I'm sure you've been a Godsend for your new boss.

Bobbi, it would be sooooooo nice if we were all closer!! I'm just glad we all found each other, despite the miles that separate us all.

Good morning lurkers [emoji4] I don't think that I ever got back on here yesterday.

My day off got too busy. Hubby needed my help painting one of our rental properties for new renters. Then my brother called. His car died and had to have it towed so I went and picked him up, brought him back to the house so that he could take one of our extra vehicles to use until his is fixed. Then after that I had some rescue stuff to do that involved a phone interview with a lady whom wants to start fostering. [emoji4] After all that was done, I sortof just "shutdown". Lol [emoji28]
