I have to agree...black eyed peas do smell like dirt and they are not my favorite by a long shot, but I can tolerate them and do so on New Year's to appease BF's mom....besides by the time I finish this daiquiri I don't think I'll care what they put in front of me to eat!
I'd never had it until this past year...it's probably my favorite dish...bar none!!
The longer it sits in the juices, the better it gets...two days from now (if there's anything left by then) it will just be mind bending good.
