    The above is also good if you cook up a mess of pinto's & fat back :2c:
    I like pintos too!!!

    I have to agree...black eyed peas do smell like dirt and they are not my favorite by a long shot, but I can tolerate them and do so on New Year's to appease BF's mom....besides by the time I finish this daiquiri I don't think I'll care what they put in front of me to eat! :p:lol:
    :lol::lol::lol: :thumbs:
    ...my motto..."if you don't like the food, drink more wine"!! :lol:

    :thumbs: Y'all are making me hungry for corn muffins!!

    You've never eaten purple hull peas either? :?:

    Can't see your image :(
    Nope, not yet. :(

    Really?? A few corn muffins will mess you up??
    Anything I consume with corn in it causes the joints in my hands to hurt. Corn chips, popcorn, cornbread, corn on the cob, etc are all on the no-no list for folks with arthritis. But today is special so I'll bear it.

    Poor Lynn...I'd be so sad if I couldn't have corn [emoji535]

    I knew you meant your joints, didn't realize how little intake it took to make a difference.
    I seriously don't have corn much, I'll have to watch and see if I notice a difference too.
    I already know I have too much sugar (sweet tea and morning coffee). :(
