@Sara Love Yes I feel a bit better. I need to figure out why my humidifier leaks. If I ran it at night, I don't think my throat would be as sore in the morning.

@oldbikeguy Already done. I may run up to the store this morning for more kerosene. My faucets will be running overnight Saturday and Sunday night.

My cedar allergy is something that's cropped up in my later years. 40 years ago, I wasn't allergic to anything other than settling down.

I am allergic to all trees and grass... there is never a day I am not with some kind of allergy.

Good morning lurkers Getting ready to get real here. Snow and maybe the coldest lows ever seen in NC. Low temp for Sunday night into Monday morning is predicted to be 0 to -1. Guess I need to find my long johns.

FYI ... I put on a pair of yoga pants for long johns some days. They work just as well and are actually more comfortable.

My coat, hoodie, ear muffs and gloves sit in the chair beside the door. A good morning is when I can put them in my computer bag instead of on!
