So, I was telling Dale that I've just finished two really good books.
I mentioned before here that I'd gotten some of her cookbooks, well, I liked them so well, I decided to read her life story books.

I think any women around 50 or older would love them. Younger women might too, they just might not remember some of the things talked about in the books.
They're not new releases, they've been out a few years.
They're auto-biographies, that read like novels. They're seriously hard to put down.
The author is Susan Branch, there are three...in this order. eThey weren't released in this order, but this is 1,2, & 3 if you want to read them in order.
1) The Fairy Tale Girl
2) Martha's Vineyard: Isle of Dreams
3) A Fine Romance

...I don't often read books because if they're good, I don't get anything done.
Like I said, these were hard to put down.
I haven't read 3 yet, waiting on the 2nd print run.

You can check out Amazon for the reviews and more info, I'm going to reserve the last one to read from our library. Our library doesn't have it, but it's in our libraries network.

Anyhoodles, just thought I'd share. :)

Back from the store. We got blackstrap molasses and flaxseed. Also a pouch of a bunch of the seeds mixed. Sunflower and pumpkin etc
The blackstrap molasses might take a little getting used to, I didn't care for it the first time I tried it, but I kept using it, and it really grew on me, I love it in oatmeal now. :)

Oh, her blog/website is:
www.susanbranch.com

If you've never seen her cookbooks, you can get a feel for them on Pinterest. Just search Susan Branch there.
The cookbooks are just really nice...again, I'm late to the party, you all may have seen them years ago.
She's been around awhile. ;)

I love pop tarts too. I haven't had any in a long time though.
I've been doing Cheerios in the mornings (work day mornings). Either the Honey Oat, or the Apple Cinnamon, then I try to eat a banana or apple.
I figure it's a form of oatmeal.

:nah:
If you've had a lot of rain, something could be wet. We used to have that problem all the time.
When they put in the cable, they looped it at the pole connection. Here, they say that any loop a squirrel can sit on, they'll chew the plastic, then you can get water seepage, and erratic connections/service.
This is what the tech told us. We had a loop, he shortened and reconnected it, the way it should have been done in the first place.
Knock wood, we haven't had the problem for since.
Well we haven't had that much rain...have had tons more before that has never affected it, but yeah, I have had that happen at home in the past when we've had flooding, so I do know it can happen...I think I'm going to stick with the "it's just cranky because of the time change thing" for now. :p:lol:

Good morning/afternoon classy.
I'm sorry you are so tired :(
Lol on the pop tarts...I wish.

Mmm s'mores pop tarts.

Good afternoon Angel  sorry about your crappy weather and internet problem. I'll swap with you ;)
Keep your squirrels on a tighter leash :p
Good afternoon Sara....Haha...yeah you could be right...those squirrels of mine do tend to cause trouble from time to time...better go check if any of them got out!

All three chicks have successfully hatched!
    And then there were three

What an egg-citing week it has been! Saturday, March 4, brought us our first pip (a hole in the egg made by the chick pecking with its “egg tooth”). It took three days for junior to break through the shell, and the chick emerged finally during the night on Wednesday, March 8. Taking that long to break through the shell tells us that the shells are very thick, strong and healthy. By Thursday afternoon, we had a second chick, and both had their first feeding at around 5 p.m. Thursday. Friday during feeding, we got some video of a chick trying to emerge from the third egg. Once again, this eagle pair has three hungry beaks to fill.

    What’s for dinner?

For the first several hours after hatching, the chicks are nutritionally sustained by the egg sac that they feed on. Eagles receive all of the nutritional value they need from the fish, birds and mammals they eat. They don’t need to drink water because they also get all of the moisture they need from their food. While the chicks are this young, the parents feed them very small bits of food that is mostly liquid, like fish meat. As the chicks grow, the parents will begin caching lots of food in the nest. At one point last year there were nine full fish in the nest, in addition to a squirrel, some small birds and a duck.

I think it's all the same stuff :D
$6 Gallon? Is it human grade??:lol::lol:
