This is my Harley...see he's doing a real good job protecting me from the squirrels:?:...but he's excellent at emulating road kill.

Some days are just like that aren't they?

Yeah, tell me about...this one is just lying by my feet leaving me to battle all those squirrels all by myself...no good mutt! :p:lol:
Yep, sounds like ours. He just doesn't really get too excited about anything.

Actually Harley loves to chase real squirrels...he can hear them scampering along the fence in the back yard all the way from the other side of the house...how on earth he hears that I don't know, but those squirrels, raccoons and possums all run for their lives when he comes barging through the door!

The only thing that excites Yoda is a cow or someone else getting a hug or kiss. Crazy mutt just can't stand it if you hug the grandkids or even the two of us. He barks and tries to get in between so he can have some of the attention.
Hahaha...OMGosh, I thought only Harley did that...he goes bonkers if the bf kisses me...gets between us and will jump up and put his snout in the way, making us kiss him instead!

Yep, and bark and act like a complete idiot. The granddaughters love it.:lol::lol: I thought he was the only one, never saw a dog act like that before. Turns out he has a kindred spirit.
Yeah and Harley will start acting like that if the bf even just says he's going to give me a kiss...he'll come running and jump up on me to stop him...then turn around expecting me to give him a kiss!...I just thought the dog was mental all this time! :p...Does Yoda bark constantly if you two are just trying to talk to each other? Harley gets all bent out of shape if he thinks we're spending too much time talking and not enough playing with him.

I wish Harley would be quiet and calm...that only happens when he's asleep...the rest of the time he wants to be the center of attention...but he is a very loving boy and he's a good watchdog...we certainly don't have to worry about any errant squirrels getting in here and attacking us in our sleep! :p:lol:

He is collie, aussie and heeler. We got him when Bruce was laid up from a bad horse wreck and they are pretty much joined at the hip. Pup never got weaned, he just changed alliances.:p Except this past year if it starts to storm, he comes and lays up under my feet. Bruce says he figures even thunder isn't tough enough to get past me.:lol::lol:

This is a pic of when I go along in the pickup and he has to sit in back... he will give me the dirtiest look!

Oh boy, he's got that look that says "why do I have to stay back here when you get to be up there?"...Harley always has to ride in the cab where the AC is or he won't go.

I thought it looked like Aussie in him, but thought there might be more...beautiful!...Harley is definitely the bf's dog...he can't go anywhere without that dog being attached to him...dog hates it when he goes to work and he can't go with him! :p:lol:

None of the ranch trucks are AC. He just wants to be where Bruce is. Though when he rides in the van, we have the middle set of seats stowed so he lays up across the back seat like he's king somebody.
Several years ago, I took Bruce up to the airport to catch a flight. He took the hotel van to the airport and left Yoda and I to sleep til it was time to head for home. They say a dog won't look you in the eye... When we got in the car and pulled away that dog sat in the middle of the seat and just stared at me in the rearview mirror. When I pulled on to the interstate he nearly came unglued. He'd look behind us and then turn and look at me. Bruce got home a couple of days later and that dog was sooo relieved! In 2010 Bruce took me up and I flew to Europe. I was gone for 6 weeks. Same story. When he came to pick me up we stopped at a truckstop on the way home. Bruce got out and I stayed in the car, the poor dog just about freaked. To this day if one gets out and the other doesn't you can see him go ... OH dear Lord, not again!

Poor Yoda...he must have thought the body snatchers had come and taken you guys! :p:lol:...Harley gets like that too...when bf's mom went on a cruise for a week, he would go upstairs each day to her room looking for her and ended up digging up the carpet outside her door trying to get in her room because he was convinced she had to be in there:ohmy:...I'm the only one he lets leave without getting too upset, but that's because I've been coming and going each week ever since we got him...so he's used to me going...but every Sunday night he does try to get in my bag so he can go with me.
