Yeah Lori, there is no normal anymore these days...when I was working as a paralegal, we had so many cases where the parents just could not get along and did horrible things to each other...and none of them cared what it was doing to the children...we also handled a lot of cases where the grandparents had to step in because the parents were so messed up and couldn't get it together...it's really a sad state of affairs what this world has come to.

No need to go through all that. Just give DIL small cute pet, like a duck or a bunny, something you can eat. Let her grow attached to it. Then when she makes some ridiculous threat about withholding your granddaughter, pick up the pet and snap it's neck in front of her and say "Do you really want to go down that road?" Then cook up the duck or rabbit and enjoy a nice meal while you stare at her menacingly. You'll scare the crap out of her. Oh, and make her eat too.

Hahaha...I have to say I like the way you think...even if it's a bit extreme!

Well I guess I need to get off my lazy .... and go take a shower and head to the store...seems like my house guest (an old family friend who just moved back to the area and I let stay in my son's room for a little while until he can find a place) has taken advantage of my generosity and ate all my food and drank my expensive coffee and used up all my creamer! ...Someone is definitely getting yelled at tonight and also getting a bill for the food!

You are telling me! What happened? Everyone is nuts. For example, since when the contents of your underpants fall off the top of the list as the leading indicator of gender? Why are people now unable to tell their gender by their genitals? In my day, that revelation happened before kindergarten. Pretty soon, the whacko baskets will walk around with a batton jammed half way up their rectum, wiggle the other half and claim to be the new Jack Russel Terrier gender.

So I wake up this morning to texts from the soon to be ex DIL wanting money from me...this girl has some nerve...she left for another man and then wants me and my son's father to both supply her with money...uh huh, like that's gonna happen! ...I try to play nice with her so I have access to my granddaughter but after talking to the ex last night about the situation, we've come to a united front and are just fed up with her threats and her crap...there's only so much a person can take before they blow up!

Eeeesh, that is terrible. I just don't understand people these days.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to shopping on Sunday's by myself. I wait for DH to get home from church and Walmart is a nightmare. I tried to get him to go on Saturday mornings but that ain't happening.
