I will try to remember to get a before and after of the cap. Maybe one when he is spotting and steaming it too. Having been raised a cowboy, hats and their care are very important to him. If you see a pic of him in his straw, you will see the rather distinct way he shapes his. You would probably not believe the amount my males spend on a good cowboy hat.

After looking at the cap, it isn't at all what I expected. It is a black cap with a black leather brim that says, "bronze star" at the top and on the brim and honor on the lower part of the cap. I will still post a pic of it. I would guess more Vietnam era.

Brrr! It's a cold 63 at football. I'm so glad I layered up. It's windy and there is no sun. Brought the hand warmers just in case.
