Good afternoon everyone

Sending well wishes your way Balwin and MB. Hope you both are feeling better soon.

Joey, sounds like an even better deal on the tv. Yay!!

Lori, I have caramel apple vodka, ghirardelli caramel sauce and apple cider. Thinking it will be similar. :D I also was thinking it's quarterly ebates sends a check. But it's been awhile since I ordered a lot of stuff online. vape shops aren't on the list. ;)

Dale, hope you behaved yourself in town. ;) hopefully it wasn't too crazy.

OBG, yum smoked turkey. So jealous. Enjoy. :)

Lynn, hope you had a wonderful nap. Are you off tonight?

Hiya Steve, this is definitely a great bunch.

Just got home from a two hour Urgent Care visit and a trip to the pharmacy for an antibiotic. Kiddo has an ear infection. Gah! At least we caught it early and neither of us will have to miss work to pick him up from school and take him to the dr.

I think I found a better tv with a 20% discount and a $80 rebate LOL

Check out this All-New 2016 VIZIO SmartCast™ E-Series 55
That's the tv I have and I love it! But, I will warn you..it will cut itself off for about 5 minutes to update every single day. And it doesn't care what you're watching or recording.:lol: I lost all the apps that it came with because I use satellite. Only way I can use them is to go through the blu-Ray player.

Had a turkey sandwich for lunch and the turkey carcass is now on the stove starting the stock for soup!
Oh! I'm boycotting the kitchen this weekend :D

Did that quite a bit with my son as well. After 4 in one year, we had tubes put in and they worked well until they fell out. Then the process started all over until the 2nd set of tubes were put in. I hope the antibiotics work quickly and he is pain free soon!

Thanks girls. He seems to be doing ok. When the doctor asked about pain, he said it was feeling better at the moment, that it comes and goes. I had given him a warm water bottle wrapped in a towel this morning. So far he hasn't needed anything for pain.

He was always having ear infections when he was younger too. He had tubes put in/adenoids removed when he was 3. The tubes have fallen out. fingers crossed this is an isolated case. He does have some sort of funky virus. Runny nose and coughing at night.

My son's adenoids and tonsils were removed when he was 3 as well. He had developed sleep apnea. Scared the crap outta me! When the ENT got his adenoids out, he said they were the size of an adults! He also had permanent T tubes inserted at the same time. He's never had another ear infection. The T tubes were removed when he was 10 and the ear drums were patched.

Sleep apnea is definitely scary. My brother has a cpap machine. Kiddo has some large tonsils, I wish they would have taken them out at the same time. He gets those from me. Lol. I had mine taken out two summers ago.

That's awesome that your son never had another ear infection. Wow, adenoids that big, that's crazy.

No tubes for our kids but as you know Bela had tonsils, adenoids removed and tubes put in this summer; seems to have done her a world of good :thumb:

The tubes definitely made a huge difference. Prior to that it seemed like he was sick all the time. I know the tubes only allow the ears to drain, but it was so weird.

It is strange :?: Too bad that wasn't available when I was kid, wonder if I'd still have my hearing?
Course being available doesn't mean my folks would have had it done.

Ummm, just changed into a comfy pajama set :D

Colton didn't start talking until he was 4. The ENT said it was because his middle ears were constantly full of fluid and the tubes allowed the fluid to drain. He told us that if we stuck our heads in water so our ears were completely submerged and to have someone talk to us, that was the same as what Colton was hearing.

Wow, glad you had him taken care of!
