Finally got the elusive toy my daughter wanted for christmas

Another cold day here tomorrow but after that we should be out of the deep freeze for a while. Not that it's going to be all that warm, but at least we'll be out of those single digits and teens and into the 30's during the day.
Busy day again tomorrow here. So much to do before we leave in 8 days.

OMG! What a day...had a great time with the family, but the drive both going there and coming back left a lot to be desired...it poured rain the whole way up and was windy as well, the whole time the temps were dropping into the low 30s
...made it there and the rain didn't stop like it was supposed to and even turned to snow at one point (not much and only very brief) so that by the time I had to leave tonight, the roads weren't completely dry and the temps were below freezing
...not the kind of trip I wanted to make home.
Luckily I didn't run into any ice, but I was very cautious driving back and so the trip took me longer and I just got home a little while ago...I am exhausted and my body hurts from being so tense in the car, but just wanted to check in and say I made it back safely...I'll catch up on everything later...too tired now.
