Dad's here with us so I haven't really been here Not sure how long he's staying, I know he'll be in the area until Monday's funeral but not sure where exactly He's going to want to go on down to Arkadelphia ... don't know why he doesn't just moved back down there

I had the misfortune of having to inform dad this morning that another of his good friends passed away last night or this morning

Lunchtime flyby....has been another busy morning.


So sorry for your loss...you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I totally understand the blessing thing...my grandmother had Alzheimer's too, plus I worked in that field in a past life, and so I understand exactly where you're coming from. (((HUGS))) for you.

Sorry for your loss Lori,that puts us both in the same boat my mother went the same way this morning,hope they hit it off waiting in line to get in up there

Prayers for you both, Lori and OBG. My dad passed after many years of alzheimers so I do understand the peace that the suffering is over and the pain of losing him. God bless you both with the peace that passes all understanding.

LoriP I am so sorry to read about your dad. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

OBG I just read your post too. Again I have to say I am sorry for your loss as well as LoriP's. Prayers going up for your mom.
It is never easy and I lost my mom and dad 7 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. Peace be with you today and all the days to come.

Yes, I hope they hit it off as well.

It's hard to see them go, but so glad their suffering is finally done.
Chili, I agree completely, not a day goes by that I don't think about mom. She's been gone almost 7 years.
Dad was here, but like Dale said, he's been "gone" so to speak for about 12 years.
Alzheimer's is a horrible disease. So glad he's no longer bound by it!!

Guess I should have my tubes replaced more often

That's what the lady that works on them concluded ... seems to be working so far

Glad they were able to help with that!! I know they've not been working properly for awhile.

Yep, hearing aid is back to normal. Fixed for nothing but I may be in for a new one on the right ear, discovered that one is over thirteen years old I think we can do better with that ear, be nice anyway if we can

Totally grey day here, but the temps are nice. Our neighbors were sitting on their deck......in Feb.
