You're good Sara!
Gotta fix and eat supper first though ;)

Ahhh, life is uncertain, it's ok to have dessert first, sometimes. :p

:( Sorry you're having one of those days.
Hope your outing perked you up!
See if your library has "The Fairy Tale Girl" by Susan Branch.
I'm reading it and it's very good! It's the first in a series of three books about parts of her life.
ETA: Just saw this on posted, just written yesterday about her.
Re: Susan Branch: From Her Heart to Yours | The Huffington Post

It made me smile, especially the snack!!

Oh my!!!! Those are just beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!

I found that snack the other day and put it in my arsenal. I knew there would come a time it would come in handy ;)

Wish I would have put my roast in a few hours sooner it's looking like dinner is going to be late again, like 8 or 9

Yikes. I would never make it to 8 or 9.

You need an electric pressure cooker :D 3.5lbs = 90min. Can't live without mine now.

Is that the new Instant Pot? :?:

Ewwww! Willpower! :w00t:

Bwahahahaha I grabbed BBG's post because I was going to ask that same question. GMTA! :D

I'm seriously looking at getting one of those. What size do you have BBG? I was looking on Amazon and it's overwhelming how many there are. We are just a small family of 3.

Lol's.

Oh gosh, my mom would have loved #1 She loved cheddar cheese on apple pie. I'm guessing cheddar.
I thought it was gross.

I'm skipping dessert tonight. :D
My grandmother loved that too. Cheddar on apple pie. Does anyone know why? Does the cheddar compliment the apple? I never thought to ask her.

They have the main page: Instant Pot Community and they also have sub-groups for Vegan, Vegetarian, Diabetic, etc.

It's a pretty nifty tool, and of course for us it was a great addition for RVing and coming home to great one pot meals.
I'll pass that on to her :thumb: Thanks :)

The 6qt was the biggest they had at the time so ours is the DUO-60 model. It does not have the Yogurt function button on it, but I honestly don't see me making yogurt. Just rare that I eat it at all. I think for 3, the 6qt is great. All the reviews on the DUO-80 (8qt) are great, it's just considerably bigger.

I can't say "why" but I've tried it and yes, it's good like that :)

Oh I went in and grabbed a bag of coffee while my son waited on them to bring the groceries out...there's no way I'll go without coffee...that's like sacrilege around here! :p:lol:

And good news, he got the tag for the truck, so he'll be good to go when we pick up the truck tomorrow. :thumb:

Looks like the TV came back :p

Speaking of which ... anybody know how these flat screen televisions go out? Slowly over time or suddenly just gone?

Glad it came back. No, I don't know. The one we have is going on 3 years. Once in awhile it will fade out and then we have to turn it back on. Not sure if that is the tv or directv. How old is yours?
