That audiologist appointment was a long oneNot real sure about it yet but if I wind up keeping it I'm going to need another new hearing aid for the left ear or be lopsided

Pretty nasty out there. Kiddo's school is closed tomorrow for roof damage. My mom and my brother (they live in different counties, an hour way from each other) are without power. They are looking at getting it back on by 3pm tomorrow. Door blew off my gpa's barn and he's lost some siding. Train derailed in Batavia. Semis blown over on the thru way. Neighbors wooden swing set blown over. We were fortunate, the only casualty was a garden gnome that blew across the driveway and shattered (don't ask why it was still outside

Just a whole different world it sounds like.I can't wait for opening day and all of our staff to arrive, then I can quietly move into what I do best - our gardens & landscaping, and let everyone else handle the face-palm inquiries.

Can't have you lopsided!!Awwww!!! It is nice having a furbaby at work.Lunchtime check in...it's a beautiful sunny day, around 75 today...I wish it could stay like this always.
Dale, hope the device works out for you...maybe once you've had a little time with it, you'll grow to love it.
Don't know if I ever mentioned it, but one of the things I like about where I work is that it's a very dog friendly work place. One of my coworkers brings her furbaby every day and she is the just joy of the whole office...her mommy left her with me today while she went to lunch and I had her sitting in my lap helping me with my work...nothing like being able to get those sweet little kisses during a hectic day, makes the day so much better.
Rita goes with me the three days that I work. Lots of people come back to visit and give her a pet.
Sorry about your wind. We're not getting anything like that.

Was busy at work. I didn't even get to lurk! Worked through lunch, and we left early so we could go to the visitation as it started, at 4.

I was at work for most of it. The office is considered to be in the basement of the building with a few windows that overlook the parking lot. So I didn't see or hear much of anything. DH said it was crazy here at home.
