All that breakfast talk is making me hungry for some...I'm in the eating it for lunch or dinner crowd. I just can't eat in the mornings at all...coffee is usually my breakfast.
Dale, I don't envy you having to cut Elly's hair...I have no patience for that, so just took Bear to a groomer to have her done a couple of weeks ago...they had to shave a lot off because she had some matting, but she looks so cute and she's loving the short cut, so much cooler for her. Paying them to do that job was worth it to me.
Paul stay safe in those storms, and the rest of you too as they head your way...I know they're supposed to start here late tonight...we already have a flash flood warning and wind advisory posted for them.
Sara, that's a lot of hair to have cut off...I couldn't imagine having that much of mine cut, but then I like having my hair long...bet it does feel a lot lighter though, which is a great feeling!

I bought some Cranberry/Pecan Chicken Salad at the deli, and some croissants that the local bakery makes and sells there. That's my lunch...oh, and Deviled Egg Salad...again, from the deli.
Both are excellent from there.

I kinda wish she hadn't cut so much of it, told her below my shoulders, it's more shoulder length after it dried and super wavy. Pre kiddo it was poker straight, post kiddo it's all wavy and out of control. I have to flat iron it EVERY day which is not good for it. Hopefully a little bit of product and I can wash and go for a little bit.

My hair has always been curly...I used to spend hours when I was a teenager straightening it, but as I've gotten older, I've learned to embrace it...it's great because being curly I can just wash it, fluff it with my fingers a bit and go...I'm lazy, so that's perfect for me!

Well, now. We dodged the bullet on that one. We had about a couple or three hours of rain, and caught the tail of the main event. Just some wind, rain, lots of thunder and some hail, and lasted about 30 minutes and now appears to have all moved northeast towards Arkansas. It's awful up north of us. Glad we got spared the rough stuff but feel for those still in it's path.

Today was busy! We have Areca palms and when they were planted, they have a 'well' that we fill with water every other day or so. Today was weeding out and remaking the well part. Also trimming the dead fronds off. We have 15... got 8 done.
