    But but ... I can't stand Chamomile :(

Yay!!! For a good day. :) No luck with sun screen?

I was just thinking about her and Lynn the other day. Where did they run off to?
    Beats me :?:

Golf season is in full swing, my guess. :)
With the early spring, I'd imagine she's been busy with work.
    I guess that's possible

I think it does help, I didn't use any on my face yesterday, trying to get a little color. I did on my shoulders, but I think most of it washed off. :(
It's just my face, the back of my neck, and just below my neck between my shoulders.
The ENTIRE rest of my body is normal.
DH says it's not really noticeable, but it itches like a :censored:

    I don't care for a really strong chamomile...as in that's the only/main ingredient.

Lynn comes and goes. I think she gets busy with her kids, and work. She's prob working a lot of hours.
    Just guessing.

Should have, we've discussed it before ;)

Looks like Angel, and Sirius are friends with her on FB.
    Maybe they'll know if she's okay. :)
I can probably find her on FB too but she doesn't post there much either to my knowledge :?:

Geesh, guess my memory is going too.
    I have no idea.

Okay, I'm off for a bit. Need to *really* get moving now and not just think about it.

Ugh, the itching. You poor thing. Does it go away quickly after you've been out of the sun?

I use Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer on my face, it has sunscreen in it. On my body I use the Hawaiian Tropic 15 spray, that way I can get some color but not burn. If I were out in the sun for a long period of time I use a higher SPF lotion. Not sure how waterproof it is since there is no float time up in here ;)

Speaking of which, kiddo just left for a pool bday party. Super jeally. He's such a bear when it comes to sunscreen. I'm like hey, you wanna go, you wear it, wanna stay home then you don't have to wear it. He's got my DHs fair skin tone. :nah:

    Good morning lovely lurkers.

The Princess has been wearing us out this weekend...but at least she's in a better mood than last time. ;)

Only read back a little bit, but yes I'm friends with Rachel on FB...have seen her post a few things here and there, think she's just real busy with work and all...and Lynn does post on another thread I'm on, she's been busy with work, but is fine.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday.

No, the itching doesn't go away quickly. :nah:
I have a combo of things I use daily on my face that's working great.
It's just the sun exposure factor.
When you have eczema, which is totally a catch all term, your barrier layer of skin isn't "normal".
I never had it as a child, so the Dr. suspects it's age related.
Also, as you age and your natural production of all your various hormones change, and, collagen building, which promotes skin regeneration and repair, slows. :(
LONG story short, it just doesn't work the way it used to, or should.
I've read that about 30% of women may experience this.

A good diet (always) helps, but there are other "triggers", too many to list, but sometimes sun exposure helps to clear it up temporarily, sometimes it makes it much worse. I sadly experience the latter.

I haven't gone and done the blood work to check all the different hormonal levels.
I'm sure there are (endless) prescriptions available that would be prescribed HAND OVER FIST by the doctors.
I discussed it some at my last appt., but I'm on the fence as to even start all that.
Some have side effects, some they claim don't.
I'd rather try to take care of it as naturally as I can, considering my track record with allergic reactions to prescriptions.
The thing is, even with natural supplements, there can be side effects, and interactions too.
I always cross reference at WebMD and look up supplements to find out.

It's fine though, I can deal with it, and I'm learning as I go. It's really just itchy, red bumps, and you can't tell at all when I'm wearing even just a little makeup, it's just the itching that's the most annoying (bothersome) part.
If this is the worst thing that I have to deal with, or go through, I can't complain at all. :)

I'm with you on the meds. They like to just prescribe away. "The benefits outweigh the risks" ::insert eye roll::

You are right, if that's the worst then you can handle it ;) You are a tough cookie. :)

I'm about Spongebobbed out here...it has been on all weekend, but the Princess loves it and it keeps her happy, so there we are...although Papa did find some old Looney Tunes cartoons on the computer last night and she loved those...they just don't make em like that anymore.

As much as I love the Princess, I have to admit I am looking forward to dropping her off in the morning and having the next 2 days to just relax...having little ones around is definitely for the younger set! ;)
