Thanks for the congrats all...you know it's funny because I said about 6 or 7 years ago that I was so over doing anything supervisory...that I was perfectly happy just being a peon, but I suppose it won't hurt to give it a go again...don't think the other girls will really have a problem with it because they already come to me for most things anyway.

Elly is going to live Apparently whatever it was has already passed through her system, vet couldn't find anything wrong with her ... and they did tests, expensive tests
Their best guess is that it's my fault for feeding her the pedigree in a pounce And it irritated her stomach So, no more of that
She's still too sick to eat and was 1/2 dhyrated so they ran some fluids in her. She has one little can of food they gave us and that's all she's allowed to have for three days.

Soooooooooooo glad to hear that!! Sorry you had to have expensive tests done though. Seriously so very happy!! Have been worried sick today.

Speaking of BUTTS I didn't say anything last night, but Rita must have some irritated .... glands.
The vet cleaned them out when we were there a couple weeks ago, all was well until a couple days ago, I noticed she's leaving a mark, here or there....yes, this is AWFULLY gross to even mention, but that's what we do here, right??
I called the vet and talked to a gal yesterday, she said to watch her, but if she's eating/drinking, using the potty normally, and not licking or scooting, it's prob just some drainage.
...it smells sooooooooooooo bad!
I'm going to call again tomorrow. I think they're inflammed the more I've looked at them, maybe need to give her an antibiotic...or something...gack!!
Researched a bit online last night and that's my conclusion anyway.

Lunchtime flyby...it's about to storm here, but I welcome the rain, because that means it won't be so hot in my car.

So the boss just let us know that we're having a whole office lunch meeting tomorrow (at least we'll be given food) and in the process told us that she'll be announcing it tomorrow, but she's making me office manager and putting me in charge of the others...she did say I'd be compensated for the new duties, but she had to run out of the office for a meeting so I have no idea what she has in mind...guess I'll find out tomorrow...hope it's at least worth it.

Well, the vet, or the groomer has always cleaned them, but never had to deal with dysfunctional ones. *shudder*
It's not *bad*, she's not in distress (at all)...just me.
It's just crazy how a little smudge of it smells SOOOOOOOOOOO FREAKING BAD.
