Hummm ... you've had catfish several times lately it seems :)
Yeah, I guess I have kind of been on a catfish kick lately. :p

That's a beautiful kitchen Robin...if mine was that nice and that big, I might actually cook sometime....

:drool: Okay, I'm going. I'm hungry!! Poor Paul, hope he's not reading!
I certainly did see it! I'll take some of all of it!!
Robin! So good to see you :). You do have a beautiful kitchen. I'm very familiar with the uba tuba. Beautiful choice.

Hi Angel! I needed that reminder that I'm retired now! I am still in that mode of it gotta get everything done before school starts again!
But I really could use guidance on counter tops. I'm afraid if I don't make some decisions soon Mr. CHILI will run out and buy a boat or another motorcycle with my nest egg for kitchen makeover! No way will I let that happen! I have waited 16 years to do some home improvements

You can't go wrong with the same countertops that Robin has. Goes with a lot of cabinet, wall and floor colors. Granite is just a bit cheaper than quartz. Granite requires a little bit of maintenance, in that you have to use a disinfecting agent on it periodically as granite has micro pores and fissures. Quartz is pretty maintenance free, but you'll notice a pretty hefty difference in price.

    Good evening lurkers

Lunchtime flyby...it's about to storm here, but I welcome the rain, because that means it won't be so hot in my car. ;)

So the boss just let us know that we're having a whole office lunch meeting tomorrow (at least we'll be given food) and in the process told us that she'll be announcing it tomorrow, but she's making me office manager and putting me in charge of the others...she did say I'd be compensated for the new duties, but she had to run out of the office for a meeting so I have no idea what she has in mind...guess I'll find out tomorrow...hope it's at least worth it.

Congrats Angel  I agree, I'm thinking supervising is where it's at for ya.

Congratulations Angel, that's great about your promotion :thumb:

Aw, hugs Paul... it'll be over soon :)

Elly is going to live :p Apparently whatever it was has already passed through her system, vet couldn't find anything wrong with her ... and they did tests, expensive tests
Their best guess is that it's my fault for feeding her the pedigree in a pouce   And it irritated her stomach :( So, no more of that :(
She's still too sick to eat and was 1/2 dhyrated so they ran some fluids in her. She has one little can of food they gave us and that's all she's allowed to have for three days.

Ohhhhhh thank goodness. I'm so glad everything is going to be fine. I couldn't stop thinking bout you guys all day. Sweet dreams Dale

Lol's, sooooo glad she's perking up a little!!

Ah, that's just how it is. We live in an instant world now, sometimes we just have to be patient.
Couldn't have done a thing, either way from here anyway.

:lol::lol: Speaking of BUTTS  I didn't say anything last night, but Rita must have some irritated .... glands.
The vet cleaned them out when we were there a couple weeks ago, all was well until a couple days ago, I noticed she's leaving a mark, here or there....yes, this is AWFULLY gross  to even mention, but that's what we do here, right??
I called the vet and talked to a gal yesterday, she said to watch her, but if she's eating/drinking, using the potty normally, and not licking or scooting, it's prob just some drainage. :nah::nah::nah:
    ...it smells sooooooooooooo bad!
I'm going to call again tomorrow. I think they're inflammed the more I've looked at them, maybe need to give her an antibiotic...or something...gack!!
Researched a bit online last night and that's my conclusion anyway.:lol::lol:

    Oh my, poor Rita.

Us and our stinking dogs!!:lol::lol:

Ummmm, you're making me rethink my plans for replacing kiddo with a fur baby when he moves out. Lololol
Hi LoriP! So I wasn't abducted but I spent a week with my sister at the lake and WiFi was scarce! My sister is so social and always on the go and after a week I returned exhausted!
This week has been busy at home too! We are trying to get new counter tops, which we have never done before, but now my head is spinning! I've never had quartz or granite and I am about ready to call it quits and get laminate! I have zero sense of decor

We have Silver Cloud granite. It's a lighter color with blacks, whites and grays. I don't have any good pics on my phone. We have dark cabinetry and flooring, so we went with a lighter granite. I love it. Definitely make sure you get some down time girl. You deserve it. ;)

Paul has me leaning towards quartz! Less maintenance is right up my alley.
Well I'm out for the night. ZOO starts in 25 minutes but the dishes are calling out to be done before I watch Zoo! Love this show.
Night to all you great lurkers :)
