Good morning all.

Oh Paul, I'm so sorry to hear all that!!
Take care of yourself, and prayers going up that your biopsies all come back fine!! :nun:

Rita is fine, but has a really upset stomach. She threw up this a.m. what she was fed before bed last night.
She ate some of her soft food, and some more of the shredded chicken this a.m., gave her her first antibiotic pill after that. We'll see.
He gave her that same thing that she couldn't tolerate when she had her jaw tooth removed, so I anticipate a run back to the vet today to get the antibiotic she could take. Of course, he wanted to "try" this one again. *sigh*.
Will get some brown rice too.

I'm there with you! Don't know what it is but I don't want hot food lately! Just pasta salad, Cole slaw, tater salad and fruit! Must be the weather!
Same here Chili, too hot for much more than a salad or a sandwich. :)

    That is good news.
Yes ma'am, she even jumped up on the sofa to sit with me by herself this morning :)

    Good morning, Lurkers

Well, yesterday didn't go as well as it should have. I've been feeling miserable. Low grade fever. Haven't eaten since Wednesday. I just don't have an appetite. It's all I can do to try to drink some water to keep hydrated. Biopsies were taken of stuff removed from both ends and will find out in a couple of weeks the results. I'll be here off and on. It's hard for me to sit here for any amount of time. Hope all of you have a great weekend.
Oh no Paul!!! So sorry you are feeling so poorly, hope today brings much improvement ... REST! ;)

    Good morning all.

    Good morning Lori
You need to make Rita some hamburger, rice, cheese food for her sensitive stomach. :?:

Dale, I'm soooooooo glad Elly is doing so good!! :nun:
I was sure worried about her. :)
Thanks! I was too! She's only eight so has many years left to her ;)

Well I've gotten dressed and made up, now I just need to pick up that purse and walk out the door ... don't wanna :p

Oh that's great that she's wanting up on the sofa!
I'd definitely know something was wrong if Rita didn't want up on ours.
I've got hamburger, I can do that. Just didn't know how she'd handle the grease. Our's isn't that lean, might need to get a small package that is.
Last time, she did really well with turkey and rice.

Sorry you have to go shopping. Hoping I won't, but the TP supply is getting low, so....

I'm off to eat and get moving. ;). BBL at some point.

If only Mr. Chili had some teeth! Stubborn old man refuses to wear his dentures and there hasn't been a steak in this house since last November!

That's grounds for a divorce!

It's never too hot for steak. Never.

Get some ground turkey then :)

Shopping is done, guess I'm afraid we'll run out of tp. Buy a new bulk package pretty soon after opening the one we have

    Or the Brat diet.
    B - Banana
    R - Rice
    A - Apple juice
    T - Toast
...I think that's right, will go check.
    YUCK!!

    Good morning everyone :)

    Hi Joey

    Hi retired
As long as there is A/C ;)
We'll see how it goes. So far, so good. :)
Yuck, but when you don't feel good, and you insides are inflammed from clean out meds and tests, bland stuff is good for ya. :)
I usually keep extra, just time to get more. Haven't been anywhere where I'd buy TP, so now it's time to go.
    ...and, that's up next. ;)

    See y'all laters.

    Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

Paul, sorry you're not feeling well after the tests...sending healing vibes for you and positive prayers for good results...hope you feel better soon. :nun:

Glad to hear Elly is feeling better...hope she can finally get some real food here soon.

Hope Rita's tummy settles and that she feels better soon too.

So that lightening strike yesterday burned a whole through the roof and one of the walls in the building diagonally across the street from us...the whole street was without internet until right before I left for the day...which sucked for us because almost everything we do is internet based...Boss never came back to the office, she got stuck in her council meeting for the rest of the day, so we didn't have our meeting yet...was fine with me...made for a quiet afternoon because couldn't really do much so for the first time in a long time I was able to take it easy. ;)

Took the car in for the oil change and had the a/c looked at...as I kept telling the bf, there is something wrong with it...this place wanted way too much to repair it, but they were just charging $10 to give it a look and let us know what was wrong...now we can take it to our mechanic here and he'll get it fixed for about a 1/4 of what this shop wanted. That just means I'll either have to take a day off work to bring the car here to get it worked on, or rent a car and leave it here...leaning towards renting a car.

    Good afternoon Angel.
Wow, that's scary being so close!!
We're kind of in a tough spot if we loose internet too. Not so much me, but for some of the others.
So far, so good. She hasn't thrown up since this a.m., going to feed her a little in just a minute.
Trying to keep some food on her stomach hoping that will help.
She seems content/normal now, and she's smelling A LOT better. In fact, no smell that I've noticed at all. So that has to be a good sign that something is helping...keeping fingers crossed that it won't refill, until later on as normal. :)

Also so sorry you're dealing with a/c troubles with your car still! I'd prob have already rented one. :)
Hopefully they can get you in and get it fixed fast. :nun:

    Hiya Lori.
Glad Rita seems content now and that she's smelling better!! :D...Hopefully she'll be able to keep her food down. ;)

Yeah, I'm already looking at rental cars...bf is stubborn...since he pays for all repairs on the car, he doesn't like to fix something until he's practically smacked over the head with it...what finally convinced him that the a/c wasn't working right and got him to agree to get it checked, was last weekend when I brought the princess over and he saw how hot and sweaty she was just riding over here....so then he finally realized I wasn't just complaining for nothing.

Good afternoon everyone. Home from the amusement park. Survived two coasters. Lol. Kiddo is only tall enough for a few of them. Spent the afternoon in the water park. Glad to be home. All that fresh air has made me super tired.

Hopefully Rita is keeping her food down this afternoon, glad she's smelling better ;) and that's great news that Elly snuggled with you, Dale, this morning.

Hope you can get the ac fixed soon, Angel.

Fresh corn for dinner. First of the season, can't wait.
