Ok, so I was too embarrassed to take pics of my meatballs. Something didn't turn out right and I ended up throwing them in the oven because they were getting dark and nowhere near cooked through. I'm gonna say the oil was too hot and maybe they should have been a tad smaller. Everyone said they were really good. DH said he prefers them baked. If at first you don't succeed...... I will definitely try them again that way.

Sara the meatballs getting dark just means you need to turn them over a little faster it is perfectly fine. They get a little crispy if left one side to long I actually like them that way, now when they are crispy and your making a gravy just chuck them in they will soften back up after cooking in the gravy. I figured had I left them to cook all the way in the frying pan, they would have been charred nuggets. I would definitely love to see pics.
