We still burn some things here at the house but have to be aware of burn bans anymore... too little rain and too dryI'd love to see less plastic being used, but I think that horse has left the barn.
We have a neighbor who burns his trash, right here in town, well small town.
He's 82 I believe, old habits I guess. But yeah, he burns it PLASTIC and all. It's smells so bad when he does, but he was on the village board for YEARS, and years, and no one will say anything to him.
We ALL pay for trash pick up though. It's mandatory. Trash, yard waste, and recycle.
Sorry I was gone so long, had to take DH back to town.

But it has a really good reputation for good food, so we'll see.

The woman said that her BIL, and 4 other men were about to break down the door when security arrived with a key.
Because of the situation (murder), it said that two of their stops were skipped, and several excursions were cancelled.
Not a good situation for anyone.

Headed home from the clam bake/BBQ. Good time had by all. My brother has started the 2nd round of grilling. I even tried a clam.

Vacation is over...now I need a vacation to recover from my vacation!
...It rained a lot and was raining this morning when we left and has rained most of the day today...think we only had a couple of days where we didn't really have any rain...was okay though, didn't want to be in the pool in the heat of the day anyway, and was still able to sit on the balcony and enjoy my margarita!
Dale, hope you're having fun with Bela.
Sounds like a good time Sara...don't like clams either...I'd stick with the burgers too.

glad you had a nice time despite the rain. I hear ya on needing another vacation to recover. Oh my, these burgers were delicious. I almost asked where they got them but I'm guessing they weren't of the lean meat variety we've become accustomed to these days.
