The nurse just said Dr wants me to stay tonight for observation.
I'm hoping not.

    @Robino1
    (and everyone)
    I was told about a nausea, hack/trick.
    Whenever you have a nausea wave, sniff rubbing alcohol square.
    She said use a cotton ball at home
    She said it tricks your brain, causes it to react or process the smell, and poof, like magic, my nausea passed.
    Just repeat as needed.

    Oh my!!! I had no idea that you were going through all this!!!! I'm so thankful you're done and doing good. :wub:

    I never have to worry about my appendix, they removed that back with my first colon cancer. A twofer ;)

    Good trick with the alcohol pads. I only get nauseous the first day after my pump is disconnected. Two tiny pills, one every 6 hours, has been all that I've needed.....so far. I take one Saturday afternoon and another later that night. I haven't had to take one on Sunday the last 2 sessions.

    They give me an anti nausea med in my line before getting the big bad boy chemo. That lasts about 3 days. I take a pill before it wears off so I've not had any problems feeling sick.

    Gosh! I'm so glad you're better!!!!!!!!!
