Morning all
60 here this morning and it feels great!
I haven't been here much lately because of Mya. We were scheduled to have her put to sleep yesterday since she had not shown any improvement at all. The vet wanted to do one last blood test and as we were making cremation arrangements the vet came in with a huge smile and said Mya's blood count was getting better and the mods were starting to work
So we brought her home with new hope.
But on another sad note, I would be days from my 4 year vape anniversary but I have had some very weak moments lately and have bummed a few cigs from my sons I guess I don't handle streSS as well aso I thought. I need to start my banner again

Good morning, KC, Dale, Lori, Sara, Angel, OBG, Chili and the rest of the Lurkers out there. It sure does feel nicer out! The much awaited cool front is here! Still cloudy out but already feel the temperature difference and feels drier. I'm hoping this is a big, strong front and will block anything that tries to come near, especially divert Irma out to the Atlantic. Hooe you all enjoy this splendid weather!

Morning Paul. I am glad temps there are nicer too!
I am watching the news right now and Irma is huge. News also said FEMA will be out of $ by the end of this week if Congress doesn't act quickly. Irma will add to the devastation.

Thanks Paul! What is ironic is that it was my sons who pushed me to quit smoking and they still smoke! I have given them so many mods and they are still dual users! They do vape if it is raining or freezing outside!
I think I might hit the vape shop and buy some higher MG juice for the future.

I won't let that happen! Gotta up my nic for a while! I made the move to 3 MG about 8 months ago and have been chain vaping! I think I need to go back up to my 6 and 12 MG for a while! Better than smoking, tastes better and sure as heck smells better than cigs!

I don't diy but I have alot of nic in the freezer. I have to admit that I don't know if I will ever use it because it scares me! I stocked up for the vape apocalypse!

It's 100 MG so I guess I could figure out how much to add to up my 3 MG to 6 or 12 mg!

It's easy just take your time at first and before you know it you'll be a pro most of us here Diy I think so if you have questions just ask

First thing I do is cut my 100mg to 36 mg that makes it safer to play with I make up about 300ml batches of 36 then go from there,know any science teachers they might help or we can talk you through it

I have a calibration chart from the diy threads. I think 1 ml will boost me from 3 to 6 in a 30 ml bottle. I am going to research it more today. I was actually going to sell the nic but I don't like the thought of trying to mail it! I have a huge stockpile of ready made juices so for now I just need to give those a boosting!

Yes, the Gulf doesn't need anything else for sure. And now praying for all you folks in Irma's way. I'm truly hoping this large cold front will help push it aside and miss Florida or any other land mass.

I'm getting 6.13 mg with your original juice being 3mg 50/50 and your 100mg being 100% pg

PS if you do that be sure and shake it up real good for a few days so it's well mixed

That is perfect OBG! I just went through my unopened juice stash and they are all 6 and 12 mg! So I will leave thosearly unopened and just boostarted some of my 3 mg. Not all of it because someday I will get back to 3 mg!

You poor thing. Quite the roller coaster ride you've been on. Don't you start that counter over. You had one blip over a successful 4 years of not smoking. Congrats!! Keep up the great work!!

I'm so glad to hear about Mya and will continue praying for her blood count to keep getting better.

I have been DIY for a few months, while I was terrified at first, it's not that bad. I have gloves that I got from WM and have marked my bottles with painters tape so I add the nic to the first mark, the vg to the next mark and add a teeny bit of distilled water. When I first started I measured everything with the syringes. After doing it that way for awhile, I thought it might be easier to mark the measurements with tape and do it that way.

Thank the heavens, people are crazy out there.I got the last cases of water in the store, considering where a family of 6 one case per person is not even covering it and I ended up giving half of that to the woman behind me, she had 4 young children with her and was in tears this was store number 4 that she had bin to.
Sunny boy does not know that mom bin up half the night filtering water in to gallon jugs, there are 40 gallons stored.
So besides a few bruises, thanks to one highly irate gentleman using a couple large potato soup cans to ban his way through the seething masses I escaped unharmed.

Chili believe me...if I would have had a cigarette today....that potato soup monster would have worn it.
All gas prices seem frozen at 2.69$ I came around one corner spotted an empty spot in one station and just slid right in, all our gasoline needs are met.plus we have four cylinders of propane, generator runs on both.

All vape gear has bin packed in a watertight storage bins only keeping two cheap drip boxes out.
Latest forecast looks a little brighter for Florida.
