I'm treating it as an adventure too considering we're supposed to be there in a couple weeks.
Tiniest glimmer of hope for my nephew's place, but seriously, it's small.
We saw some pics posted last night, and DH remembers well a place that's right next to his, never saw an actual pic of his place though.
It's one that's elevated, but not stilted, same as my nephews.
DH could not see a water line above the steps on it, so we're hoping that it didn't get deep enough to flood into his home.
The island will have *many* other issues though, a ginormous chunk/area is out of the road that connects the island to the mainland, but such is island live I suppose.
AND, I saw nothing mentioned about any loss of life among those who rode out the storm there.
The person who stayed still has his sense of humor, he posted pics last night and said, "this is waterfront living"...and to go with the picture of his iced down beer cooler "things are looking up".
It's an *extremely* tight knit community, neighbor will help neighbor, they'll get through it.
...life goes on.

Bought 4 new movies yesterday then stopped and picked up a pizza to go with my movie fest, first movie I opened didn't have the movie in the caseit's going back today along with the second one I picked up then realized I have that one already 
I did get to watch 2 of the 4and the pizza was good
