:( Sorry your weekend is too busy for a little down time :(

That's great about your kiddo!!!! He must be very good :thumb:
Oh, that's ok. I can't be a lazy couch potato every weekend.:lol::lol:

He definitely works hard at it and has a lot of fun. He's been with this sports organization since he was 2, playing the various instructional sports that they offer. We mostly did it to keep him active and involved with other kids since he's an only child.

Sara that's awesome about kiddo...he's gonna have a blast...I don't blame you, I wouldn't miss it either.

Has been a pretty good day here...just been taking it easy, trying to give my arm some rest.

Is your elbow still bothering you :(

I am feeling really guilty about having to call in, but I knew if I had asked I would have been told no and written up for calling in. He's really excited too. I can't wait. :)

Yeah, it's been even worse this week...I really need about a week off, where I can just completely rest it...unfortunately that's not going to happen.

I don't blame you...I'd do whatever I need to for that too...you'll both have a great time.

Man, the forum, or our connection is really lagging. :(

Oh, #1 for the dessert. Wow, thank you!! Love a brownie Dale!

...and that cuppa!! Thank you KC.
That's great on the propane deliveries!! Like Texas, I'm sure they need any and everything.

Sara, that's awesome for kiddo!!! Glad you'll get to be there even if you have to call in. :)

Angel, so sorry you're still hurting. :( (((HUGS))) I wish you could rest it for a week too.

...so, the vacation adventure starts a week from tomorrow.

I heard from my nephew earlier today, and he's going straight home on the 25th when he's done in AK.
That was his plan anyway if he could get his flights changed without too much expense.
His original plan was to go visit his mom in Idaho for 3 weeks, then go home...before Irma.
Bless his heart, their internet is so messed up there he hasn't even seen any pictures, or any articles.
He said the pages just won't load. I'm guessing a satellite feed, but not sure.
...he said he's seen enough of them, (hurricanes) they all look the same.
He's talked to his roommate, but his roommate had not physically been there yet.
Cell towers are down, and his roommate has to be in an area where he can get coverage.

Okay, heading off to go soak.
Sweet dreams to those who go.
I'll swing back through when I make it to the sofa. :)

We get to take home 24 jars!! :rickroll: Yum!

They will be great this winter

You don't like tomatoes either? Or the canning part? I was surprised at how easy it was, course there were 3 adults and 1 kiddo doing it.
Only part I don't like about doing it is the mess, juice everywhere

I was wondering on the way home just how long these will last. ;)

Store them in a dark cool dry place with the rings removed 2 years easy,as soon as you get them home remove the rings or they will rust on quick I let things dry out a few days then put them back real loose but it's not needed after they are sealed :2c: My favorite part of the whole process is waiting on the lids to go pop

Kiddo was 1 of 15 kids out of 1000 to be picked to go the Buffalo Bills stadium for a one day flag football training camp with the Buffalo Bills

Be sure to wear a good disguise in case the put it on the news, like a big hat and sunglasses with something you never wear to work :sneaky:Please pass along a congrats from me that's cool

Wow, two years? If I don't eat them all before then. Hehe ;) That's great! Yeah, it was quite messy. But it was cool to hear the lids pop. Thanks for the info, we're bringing them home today. Good idea with the disguise  That's all I need, my face plastered on the big screen Lolz! He said thank you :) He's had to keep quiet about it with his friends and teammates to spare any hurt feelings.

This is on my bucket list! I would give anything to see the Northern Lights. :)

Off to get showered and head to mom's. You all have a wonderful, relaxing Sunday!
