Have a dental cleaning first thing, then I'll be on my way N.
DH's mom is fine when she's busy. They went to the funeral home today. He said during moments of downtime, she's a mess.
She was so strong at the hospital, but today the reality of it is setting in. DH would like the extra emotional support for her, so...off I go tomorrow.
Prayers for safe travels will be most appreciated as it will be Rita and I.
I'm absolutely NOT going up near Chicago and driving that way, will go East at some point thru Indiana, then N into Michigan. I've been that way before, it'll be fine.
I'll have my phone and I'll take my bear claw meat shredders.

So, apparently I'm destined to be wet this week.
Started pouring rain right as I was supposed to leave work...ended up waiting 45 minutes just to leave it was so nasty out...and I sure didn't want to try buckling the princess into her car seat in that downpour (although I still ended up getting soaked)...then couldn't even get to my house because there was flooding all over and a nasty wreck right in front of the entrance to my neighborhood, so took forever to get through, after taking an alternate route through flooded streets and then having to wait to get into my road...finally home and now for Spongebob...oh joy.

My job is normally fine now that I've scaled back to three days, it's just having to make up for being closed Monday ... and a new inspector out to prove herself
