Good find on the machine Lori

Good morning OBG.
I thought so too, couldn't believe it when I saw both for that price'
I paid $400 for that machine (used) in 1984, with my high school graduation money, plus some I'd been saving for a machine.
It was a year and a half old at that time, traded in on it new one at our local Singer sewing shop by a woman who sewed a lot and always bought whenever a new model came out.
I've used it a lot over the years. Great machine!
If it's still open, there is an authorized Singer repair shop near Erb in Fenton. It's supposed to be right by the store there.

I said "oh yes, you definitely need a new home!" Lol's.

Yuck, stay warm! Any snow in your forecast? We are supposed to get some Sunday, but it's supposed to be mainly south and east (fingers crossed) oh and I forgot wind is coming too.

Chance of maybe overnight dusting on Friday, but temps are supposed to be in the 40's Saturday.
Then best chance on Sunday, but we're supposed to leave then.
The forecast has been changing daily, so I suppose we'll have to just wait and see what comes when it comes. Lol's.
Our SUV does great in the snow, it's all wheel drive.
DH grew up driving on it, so I don't worry if he's driving, and it's just snow, just don't want to see icy roads.
I figured you'd eventually get some of this front. It's getting to be that time of year that it's going to start.

Yeah, I won't buy a vehicle without all wheel or 4 wheel drive. I know it doesn't help you on ice, but it definitely helps with the snow. Lol yep, it's definitely that time of the year.

I wish Sara but this has been sneaking up on me for several days ... I just didn’t know why I ached so much

Was okay mid day but starting to feel pretty rough now, you know how it goes I’m sure.
I offered to stay home so the boss wouldn’t catch it but he said it was fine with him
I do believe the man hates to grind


Had DD here this morning crying, her relationship is ending I just don’t know ....

Aw Dale, sorry you're sick...hope it passes quick and doesn't get too bad for you...sending healing vibes...and poor DD...hope things work out for her.

Has been a very emotional, rough few days here...I'm just so worn out at the end of the day that I don't want to do anything...the funeral is going to be Friday and it's going to be packed...most of the city administration will be there, along with all kinds of friends and family. The outpouring of love for this family has been amazing. It's heartbreaking and touching at the same time.
