I think DH has been to the store almost every night this week.

Yup except for trying to get around all the crap the pile all over and the floor cleaning people

Get everything you needed? Hahaha. Yes, they have their aisles clogged with so much stuff. It's insane. I haven't been to Target in a very long time so things may be different now. The space just feels so open. Nice not having to dodge displays every few feet.

The dogs got me up at around 5 and then I tried to go back to sleep but no luck! So it's coffee time and I think I will also head to WW early for some last minute gifts.

It's Friday!! And a short week next week! You all have fun with your last minute WW runs. I think I'm done, but do need to go to the grocery store later today to pick up a few things. We're going to make turkey again Sunday, mainly just to use up our last one that's been in the freezer for a couple of years. But need some stuff to make to take with us next door Monday for a little get together with the neighbor. We'll run up to dad's Monday morning and bring him some turkey and fixings and have a little gift for him. I'm hoping we're going to take off at lunchtime today. It's such a rare occasion to have any extended time off I'm going to relish it.

I'm almost done, just need some more stuff to wrap gifts and cookies to make! I was going to be brave and try to make tamales for the first time but with having the flu recently and DH with the flu now, it just is not going to happen
Good thing I'm in Texas and can get tamales without a problem. I got this covered with enchiladas and fajitas Xmas eve and tamales for Xmas morning! What you guys having??

Just half a day today...woohoo!

Paul, enjoy that time off...you definitely deserve it.

No more shopping for me...if I don't already have it, then too bad....we'll be having pork roast at the bf's for Christmas...and for our dinner here next Friday, we'll be doing ham, sweet potato casserole (my son insisted on since he hasn't had it for a couple years), dressing, baked mac and cheese, etc....

I had flu A and so does he. I was told by my doctor that I should be finished for the year and then I went to visit my sister and came home with flu B. I have NEVER had the flu and now I have had it twice this month! I'm so done now

We are going to my daughter in laws mom's house for Xmas lunch and will probably have ham but I did buy a small ham for at home because I use it for omlets, quiche, beans and sandwiches. I can't pass up ham when it is on sale!
