Hello Lurkers :)

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I was just thinking the same thing :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Hiya OBG  hope your dinner and nap were good ;)

Yup trying to get everything ready for the first "F" class match this year near here.:D

Google that one if you don't know it is ;)

I’m with Dale, off to google ;)

Holy wind Batman. It is absolutely crazy here. 75 mph wind was recorded not to far from here. The house next door lost their swing set. Several trees down and I saw (only pics) at least 3 different semi’s had overturned while driving. Sounds like everyone was ok though. Lots of people without power. Another 4 hours of this.

Yes, home safe. Thank goodness. Watching the trees across the street bend and sway.

OBG, so I saw it’s rifles. So, did you say you are competing?
I generally enjoy wild weather, got so windy here once it blew all the chairs and stuff off the deck  It was CLEAN!

Off to get into my jammies ;)

I don't think we had THAT much wind.
It was howling when we went to bed last night though.
Hope you don't have any damage! :nun:

You poor dear! :( I will take my middle of night potty calls over that any day. Yep, 3x last night. Musta had too much sodium yesterday, funny though I don’t remember drinking that much.

I lurk so I can't post anything here, but i hope everyone creates a grand day anyway.
Hiya Shadow :) Post away! Hope your day is equally grand.

    Good afternoon all.

Hi Shadow, post or lurk. Whichever you wish. :)

Just now getting here. Had scheduled an early (EARLY) hair appt. in case we were going to be covering in the office for the gal semi-retiring...which today was her first official weekday off.
But since we'd swiped the gal from the service dept., we're hopefully going to be good...and, it turns out the original gal is still going to be there 3 days a week...at least for awhile, until the gals learns what all she's doing...but, since that's all in the works, I could have done my normal time, but it is what it is.

So, got my hairs all cut and re-colored and re-lightened. :nun: Grey re-covered over for a little while.
Groc. shopped, put that away, ate lunch and napped...successfully dozed anyway. Good enough.
Now I've got laundry going and dinner is chili cheese dogs, and a salad. :)

Not much else going on...well, we did have quite a scare within the family.

My great nephew (my brother's grandson), was in a terrible accident early this past Saturday a.m.
He wasn't wearing his seat belt, and was ejected during the accident.
There was a car behind him who saw him go off the road and called for the ambulance. :nun:
Just totally a fluke thing, but they had both been at a gas station filling up at the same time, and left at the same time.
Otherwise, since it happened on a rural county highway, he may have not gotten medical attention quite as fast.
The person said they had talked at the gas station, that he (my great nephew) was very friendly, and seemed fine, that he was driving fine, not weaving, or driving erratic, and just went off the road.
As he went through the ditch the truck rolled, etc.
Driving conditions weren't great, it was raining pretty hard, but he doesn't remember anything about the actual crash.
He has fractured vertebra (C2 through T1), so I think that's 7 total, broken ribs, and lacerated spleen, and kidney. They didn't do surgery though, they were able to stabilize his hemoglobin, and said as long as his hemoglobin stays where they want it, that the lacerations will heal on their own, and he won't have to have surgery.
He can walk and has no broken legs, arms or toes. :nun:
The Dr. said as long as he follow the instructions he shouldn't end up paralyzed.

It happened in a rural area, he was taken to a local hospital, then airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital...the gal I work with said that's exactly where we'd want him to be.
He was released to go home yesterday.
He's in a rigid neck/back brace and will have a long road healing, with physical therapy, but we're just so thankful he's still with us.
He'd just turned 21 the weekend before, but thankfully, no drugs or alcohol was involved, and no other cars or passengers.
I'll post a before and after of his truck next. :)
