Good morning, Sara, Dallas is 4 hours north of me. So not looking forward to that long of a drive.
    Oh yuck! :(

Quite a drop there, Dale. Brrr!! Whatcha cooking?

Yeah, that’s a long drive :( is it an easy drive? Will you be there long? Can’t remember if you said.

Mm DH is whipping up some more pierogies, he had quite a bit of leftover filling.
Nothing right now, have a little pork roast I’m going to put in the little crockpot for pulled pork ... and a slab of ribs that’ll be done in the oven. :)

35 now but feels like 28

Good morning Lori  It’s been raining again but no sign of snow ;)

    I’m getting hungry too :?:
    Could still happen. :D
Good morning KC, so glad you don’t have to work today but I’m sorry you got some snow.

Awwww, blooming flowers. So cool in the springtime. Just wish it were warmer.

Good morning Paul, sorry your weather ain’t that great either. Good news that your supplies are on their way. Is Dallas far from you? Safe travels when you go.

I had to turn the temp up 2 degrees.

Good morning Lori  glad to hear you didn’t get any snow. It’s been snowing like crazy here but the ground must have warmed some because anything that stuck didn’t last long.

Definitely taking it easy this weekend, but have some prep work to do ;) Will be solo parenting Mon-Thurs. DH has to go to Saratoga for a work conference.

Word on the street is Liberty has returned to the nest. It’s not confirmed yet. These birds weren’t tagged or anything. But people were saying this new bird is too comfortable with Freedom/the nest and smaller than Lucy. Lucy is a HUGE bird. I’m guessing there will be a lot of action in the coming days as Lucy tries to reclaim the nest.
So far so good, we'll see what tomorrow brings. :) It won't last, we'll be above freezing everyday, thankfully.

That would be awesome if that is Liberty!! Which cam do you follow? 1 or 2?
Do you post or just read...I've no intention to post, just curious.
It's empty at the moment. :)

Yikes! The temperature has dropped from 40 to 32!

I’ve got to do some cooking this weekend if we want to eat next week
    Snow...

    Yum!!!
DH are splitting a steak, and I have some asparagus. Might need another veggie, not much of the asparagus left...

    :( Getting colder.

Not a lot going on here today. We're being lazy.
The regular daily chores and laundry...stitched a bit, and watched a couple stitchers on You Tube.
Have the white load to fold next...:nah:

Sounds like us over here too minus the stitching. I actually dozed a few times on the couch  We were supposed to have turkey burgers, green beans and tator wedges but we skipped the tators because DH had made another batch of pierogis earlier and we sampled them lol.

I was only able to get watch the cams once when they first turned them on. Not sure if it’s my phone, the internet connection or too many people viewing. So I just check the Facebook page and maybe watch a video if someone posts one. I don’t post either. Just lurk  it’s what I do best ;)

    Thanks for the info! :nun:

I'll have to google pierogies. I think they're like a hand pie, but not sure...just about every culture has them, but made similar but with things native, or in abundance in their area...if it's what I'm thinking.
...I was right. (miracle of miracles)

No snow here today Lori! :p

Laptop is sick :?: Can’t even open the tools to run a scan  I find it confusing that my tablet is working fine

I’ve been pretty darn lazy myself Sara, seems I’m getting worse by the day
Sounds like a nasty virus or trojan. :( Do you know how to start in safe mode?
If you can start in safe mode, you might be able to run a scan.

Finally hit a high of 40  Overnight low is 32, guess we better cover my peony!
    Yes, better cover it. :)

Well, I'm off to clean up the kitchen, go soak and go stitch.
Have a good rest of the evening all. I'll check back after my soak. ;)

Feel ya there my friend. So many things I should do on the weekends but I’m so physically and mentally exhausted, it’s hard. It’s almost like I have to prepare myself for Monday’s that most things get pushed to the wayside.

    Sorry about your computer. :(

My first pierogi was a frozen commercially produced one. Mrs T’s. Not sure if they have them out that way. They are really good. I’ve tried some “homemade” ones but can’t get past the farmer’s cheese taste. DH decided he wanted to try to make them himself. I think he did a pretty decent job for a first time making them. I’m a basic girl: potato and cheese. Don’t get into the kraut ones.

    Enjoy your stitching. :)

Forgot to tell you gals, I read my first novel (in a long time) A Girl On The Train. I had dvr’d the movie and wanted to read the book first. It was decent. Need to find my way back to reading. :)

Oh, not sure that I know how to restart Windows 10 in safe mode.
Maybe get with Travis? Trevor?? Your computer guru...not sure I remember his name.
Couldn’t open the program to do so :?:
It’s working now, DH was able to right click something and restart it

Glad you were able to restart it :)

Me too!! I love reading, these days it’s mostly the internet  But I have a kindle and a lot of books on it. That’s awesome you have one everywhere. I can read one in a couple of hours if it catches my attention and there are no distractions. Sadly, that’s not the case these days.
