They gave me 80 pills for each surgery when I had my shoulder done I think I only took 5 pills. Then the hip was done I used more for that surgery over a 3 week span. Yeah I have around 100 left :lol::lol:
Glad you didn’t need to use it.
Good morning Sara

Yay for quiet time :thumb:

Yeah, guess y’all are right on the medication ;)
It’s easier to get stuff done when there aren’t two lazy lumps on the couch. Two turns into three :lol::lol:

Should be like that here also, I was happy I had them if needed though :)
My docs are the same way at least with me and I’ve never played the system. But I know someone who asks and gets what they want and is in desperate need of help because of that. :(

    Sorry Sara :(

Unfortunately it’s people like that that keep those of us who really need them from getting them :(

Easy to get hooked on drugs especially when some dr’s write scripts so easily!!

Good afternoon lurkers. Hope everyone is having a fantastic Saturday.

That definitely sounds impressive (house) I make Yukon gold wedges with olive oil, garlic, parm and Italian seasonings for kiddo/I and chunks of sweet potato with olive oil and garlic pepper for DH.
Hope you enjoyed your movies. What kind of dog do you have? We have a 9 month old English Bulldog.

I've got a chihuahua. That wee brown fur ball in my avatar photo. I honestly have no idea how old he is. He was a rescue and the vet said he could be 3 years old or he could be 8 years old. I love him with every fiber of my being though.

    Good afternoon all.
    Sorry, missed the morning session.
Had coffee, watched a little tv, then got busy with chores and went outside to fish leaves out of the pool..
DH was working on the yard, he made a huge dent in it. He cut down all the decorative grasses, blew the leaves, hauled all that to the yard waste dump area, and mowed.
First major pass through the yard done, definitely something that you don't get all done in a day.

Have a surprise b'day party this afternoon for a neighbor at the lake. So needed to get moving and didn't really have time to visit this a.m.

Now I need to run and get my shower and ready to go.

Dale, glad you've got the meds you need!

I didn't get any when I had my appendix out. I didn't really want any, and I did just fine with Extra Strength Tylenol, that way I didn't have to worry about driving impaired, or anything like that.
But definitely those who play the system. The nurses asked if I wanted anything for pain, and I said Tylenol, they laughed (literally...three of them at the same time, just busted up laughing).
They said it had been a VERY LONG time since they had anyone ask for just Tylenol, and they'd have to call my Dr. to get a Rx for it.

Better run, have a good afternoon all. :) No nap for me today, although I'm ready for one!!

Duke, Rita is a rescue too.
    <-------- Rita.
She had just turned 5 when we adopted her, that pic is from her first day with us.
    She'll be 14 on May 5th.
Every day she's still with us is a precious one...she's definitely getting on in dog years.
Yep, love her to pieces too. Will be a sad day when we say goodbye to her for sure!
Then, in time, we'll see if we can give another one a forever home. :)

I am very much a dog person. We had 3 dogs when I was growing up and it feels weird not having them around. Eventually I'm just going to be the crazy old man who lives in the woods with his dogs.
You’ve got a long way to go to be an old man. ;)

    Evening lurkers

(((Dale))) sorry your feeling crummy. I hope tomorrow is better.

Lori, so glad you had a nice time. Bet you’ll sleep good tonight.

    Joey, burgers sound awesome.

We had leftover eggplant and glass noodles. Found a couple of packages in the pantry that we’d forgotten about. I see glass noodles and meatballs in the future. Then we took a drive over to the walking path and had a nice long walk. Oh....it was beautiful here today. High 50s and sun.

Glad you went and did something relaxing and had good weather for it Sara :)

I bought some mozzarella filled ravioli today for the first time ever, thought I’d warm up some spaghetti sauce to go over it :?:
