Good morning Ipster, Lori, KC and Joey

Hope your feeling better Dale. I agree, I hope today is short!

Put my sunglasses on this morning because yay! the sun is out. It’s going to hit 70 today :) annnnnnd then a lens popped out. Another pair of sunglasses bites the dust. I just bought them. :( Good thing I buy cheap ones.

Have a great day all :)

    Good morning lurkers.

Charlie (doggo) is MUCH better this morning. Still breathing sharply and rapidly but he's less lethargic and doesn't seem like he's on his deathbed anymore.

No work today so I suppose in an hour or so I'll be off to run a few errands and go see a friend for a bit.

Hope y'all have a great Monday.

One of my grandmothers kept DG in biz buying them by the box for years :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

This is a good idea  For a brief moment I wanted to get a pair of MK ones, but then reality set in. No way am I spending $$$ on sunglasses that I will break in a week.

I was so proud of myself that this last pair lasted all through summer, fall, winter and the start of spring. That may be a record for me.

    Good afternoon Lurkers :)

I guess my day was short enough, clocked out a little after 3:30 .... still felt long though :p

Sara the pain is much better, I didn’t take any pain pills at work but I did take some ibuprofen about 11:30. However I felt sick all day :( Could be a number of reasons for that but I think once I can eat a little more regular and um ... my bathroom habits return to normal for me I’ll feel better ;)

Well I’m glad you got out at 3:30 and only needed ibuprofen. Hopefully now that you are managing the pain with that, you’ll be better in other areas. :nun:

Sooo glad today is over. People were beasts. I don’t see how you can be that cranky when it’s a beautiful day outside.

    Good evening all.
Wasn't terribly horrible for a Monday...still tired, but not as frazzled as the last couple Mondays. :nun:
HOWEVER...we have some WILD days ahead. :( We're getting a new software system at work...not ready at all. Everyone has to do training ahead of the conversion and I'm soooooooo not looking forward to the next few weeks.
Long term, it will be great, a necessity in fact, but near term...
I'm told it's NOTHING like our current system, although the same company writes/produces it.

    Hi Ipster! :)

OBG, I meant to comment on your dinner last night, but was so tired, I completely zoned out!
Your dinner looked AMAZING!!:drool::drool: You'll be eating GOOD for a couple/few days!

As always, thanks for the morning cuppa KC, I think I had about an entire pot today!

So Joey, have you heard anything yet??

Duke, soooooooo glad Charlie is doing much better!!

Sorry about your sunglasses Sara, and sorry people were so mean. :(
Hopefully tomorrow will be better. :)

Dale, glad you had a shorter(ish) day, and that you were able to get by with Ibuprofen.
Sorry you're stomach and everything is so messed up. :( When did you say you should know something?
    Wednesday?

Rita is pacing, and I'm ready to go soak. Will swing back through later when I land on the sofa. ;)

Um, May 2nd Lori  That’s when I go back anyway :?:

Don’t envy you having to learn a new system

I hear you on the tiredness, thinking about hitting the bed at eight myself, can hardly see for yawning

Eeeesh. I wouldn’t be looking forward to that either. Hope the transition goes smoothly. Change can definitely be rough in the present. Glad today wasn’t as hectic for you as it’s been. :)

Ehh it was ok. Just venting a bit. I can see why people retire from this job as ole nasty biddies. It definitely wears on ya. ;)

Sounds like an early evening for most. I’m beat too. Did you know that when you read the word yawn it makes you yawn?
