Good evening lurkers

Thanks everyone

I definitely agree, it could have been worse. DH found a pt that has an opening Friday morning, so thats a positive and they picked up a sleeve for his knee.

Sweet dreams lurkers
That's great news Sara, glad he can get started sooner. :)
So you mentioned "disconnecting", I think that's what you called it, I was so pleasantly surprised the other night when our power went out just before dinner.
I'd been so caught up in doing "the things" every night, laundry, this and that, etc.
Well, without power, once it got dark, there wasn't much I could do. We had the patio doors open, and the frogs we're loving the rain. I sat on the sofa and listened to the frogs by candlelight.
It was the first time in weeks that I'd made it to the sofa by 8 p.m.

 Good morning lovely and handsome Lurkers
Good morning Dale.
...was a short night. :(

Good morning KC. Love that!!

Ugh!! So last night we had a robo call from the power company, they were informing us of a planned outage to optimize somethingorother and it would last about an hour and begin July 3rd at 12:30 a.m.
So, we get to reset all our clocks (again), and since our smoke detectors are hard wired, we had to listen to them "chirp" until the residual somethingorother drained or did whatever it does until they go quiet.

Sure don't feel like I've slept.
Gosh, and look at the time already this a.m.
Okay, I'm off to eat and get ready for work.
Have a good day all.

Village parade and fireworks tonight...in case I'm absent. ;)

Good morning Lori  Yep, 4 hours sleep :( And another hard day ahead.

Glad you got some real down time and that at least your power will be off during a cooler time frame :)

Yay for getting home at a decent time Dale.

Rain stopped, just hot now...I plan on staying tucked away inside with the AC for my day off.

    Good evening lurkers

Home from Lacrosse, man did those kids get creamed 21-8. It was hot out there also! I’m mean but with good reason, kiddo will dress and support his teams at games and practices.

Sitting here with my big drink, loving that I’m off tomorrow too!! Woot!!

Dale, so glad you are off. Wondered about that.

Had to scroll back through, knew there was something I wanted to comment on. Lol.

Lori, I am so bad about disconnecting/unplugging from the Internet. I use it as my way to decompress from the day. Mostly reading here and other forums, checking Facebook. I should pick up the newspaper or a novel instead  or maybe mop the floor a little more frequently. Bwahaha.

I agree about kiddo. I truly feel bad he can’t play but he made a committment. Thanks, can’t wait to bask in the sun and stuff myself silly. Do you have any plans?
