Oh KC, that would be great if you had it all done! Someone was just talking about a tool that makes removing popcorn fonifi much easier.
If you haven't already heard about it, try googling, it sounded pretty slick.

I have one of the "scrapers that holds a bag" tools. It really does help keep the mess to a minimum.

Good morning Dale, Lori, KC, Joey and lurkers  hope I didn’t miss anyone. Was playing catch-up.

Hiya Shad :)

Lazy day yesterday for me too. Caught up on some dvr’d shows/movies. Today not so much. Eye appt at the mall, have to return a couple of shirts and hit the grocery store up that way, dinner at mom’s. Pork roast, broccoli and mashed tators

Thank you for the lovely breakfast, Dale. The quotes were perfect too! Something I need to continue to work on....don’t sweat the small stuff. Except when your DH didn’t reserve the kennel early enough and there are no spots for the upcoming holiday weekend  Annual State Fair trip. DH will have to leave Saturday afternoon and head home and then rejoin us on Sunday. Fortunately we were only staying one night but hitting the fair both Sat and Sun.

KC, sounds like things are coming together  We had popcorn ceilings in our living room at the old house. What a horrible trend. Good luck. If I remember correctly we didn’t mess with them just repainted (PITA) If we had stayed there, definitely would have removed.

Lori, that would be an awesome thing to experience, definitely hard work though. Hope you have fun today!

Joey, how are you holding up? You go back to the Dr this week? :nun:

Well, I better get a move on. Have a few things I’d like to get done today. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Shoulda grabbed quotes! Angel that is great on the 30lb loss. How are the meals on nutrisystem? My brother is doing Whole30 and so far has lost 15. While I’d love to eat clean, I don’t thing I could give up my grains or alcohol, even if it were only for 30 days lol.

Furniture is moved back into family room. DW is figuring out what pictures are going to go back up on the walls and placing the decorative stuff in the entertainment center/hutch.

Next project is either the ceiling in the kitchen(remove popcorn)and repaint, or work on the room we are calling the library(paint walls, install laminate flooring).

:nun::nun:Maybe I will have the house redone by the time I get to retire. LOL:rolleyes:
Ugh decisions decisions ... don’t forget to take time for yourself ;)

    Good morning all!
Lovely Sunday buffet and inspiration Dale!

Great idea on doing Nutri System Angel!

    Have a great day all!
    Good morning Lori
Much too hot and muggy here for sitting outside but it sure sounds good.

Have a great time today :)

    Good morning everyone :)
Good morning Joey  Hope your next appointment provides better news :nun:

    Good morning lovely lurkers.

Lori, hope you have fun today!

Dale, lovely breakfast and even better quotes...like Sara, I too need to learn to let things go and just enjoy life sometimes...it's a work in progress. ;)

KC, good luck with your remaining projects...I know when it's all done, it's going to look great!

The food is actually pretty good. I like that everything is in the right proportions and all I have to do is add some fresh veggies and fruits. I sometimes add some spice like garlic, which I love, and such, but so far I haven't had anything I couldn't eat...some I might not order again just because it's not something I'd normally eat. And I can have alcohol on it, just not every day, which I never did anyway. I can still have grains, just have to be smart and eat better ones. It's about learning to balance out healthy fats, grains, carbs, etc. Oh and I even get dessert too, and their lemon cake is awesome! ;) Even though it seems expensive (I chose the plan where I can pick out my foods, plus get the frozen ones which has some of the better stuff), when I considered how much we were paying to eat out all the time, I'm actually paying less.

I did, can ya believe it?

Well, we will feed her/take her out before we go Sat morning. DH will have to leave the fair after lunch and come home for the evening. Kiddo and I will go to the hotel with my parents. DH will meet back up with us Sunday morning and then we’ll head home after lunch. We have a 4 day weekend, so she will still have two whole days of not being corralled, but instead of it being Sat/Sun it will be Fri/Mon. I can’t remember if I told y’all that she isn’t “crated” anymore. We have her in the mud room with the baby gate up. Her crate is in there as well. She has more room to move about.

    Good evening all.

KC, that's great that you have that tool!

OBG, TOO FUNNY, the wearing black post!!:lol::lol::lol:

Angel, it sounds like you're getting it all worked out to fit *you* and that's awesome that you've lost the 30 lbs!!
    :banana::banana::banana:

Oh Sara, the state fair sounds wonderful!! :)

Had a great day! Was so very thankful we had some VIP type passes, and were able to still park in the volunteer lot, and such!!
I've never seen so many people in one place at one time though!!
We wanted to watch the end from home, so we left a little before 2.
We were both ready. DH had a full week of long hours and late nights getting home, and was ready to veg out in his comfy chair.
I was HOT, and not being used to that much walking....well,

I did get a few pics, I'll post those next. Heading to the shower and the sofa.
If I don't make it back later, have a good rest of the evening.
