Around 60 today, grey...rain to start early evening, and then rain
through the weekend...but hey, it's not snow, so I won't complain.
Have been busy at work, and spending time with Mimi in the evening, after the normal stuff.
Been trying to read a kindle book I got on dog training too.
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. Quiet, which is fine by me.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend...ours was beautiful and sunny and low 70s...just perfect, which of course only happens about 2 or 3 days a year!

Lori, I had a dog that used to do that submissive ...... whenever you'd raise your voice, even if it wasn't directly at her...she never really outgrew it either...turned out she had been badly abused before we got her and she was just a very nervous, scared baby, but she was the sweetest thing in the world and was so loving once she came out of her shell.
So, I've decided that I have really good bosses. After my ex died, I lost a huge chunk of my income because I was no longer getting my half of his retirement pay. My bosses knew of my situation, but it wasn't really their problem. Well, last week on Margarita Tuesday, you know get the boss drunk first, LOL, I made them a proposal and on Friday they let me know that they agreed to it, which included a very big raise, and made up for most of my lost income.
So now I'm Operations Manager, and while I may work my tail off all week long, at least I'm getting paid well for it.
Angel, that is AWESOME NEWS regarding your promotion and pay increase!!
Busy days make them go fast, I'd rather be busy than so slow that time just creeps.
I suspect this might have somewhat been the case for Mimi too.
I am more conscious of how I speak to her now, and find she listens to me just as well if I am firm but use a softer tone. Just tender feelings I suppose.
She is really a good, sweet girl.

The game was fun and cute to watch, even though it was a bit on the cold side out there...Princess was in her own little world though...out there kicking dirt, dancing around,
throwing her glove around, even let a ball roll right by her and never saw it.
But she did score on her second at bat, after getting out at first on her first time up and that almost caused a melt down she was so upset...but she did have fun and that's what matters. She was so happy to have everyone there for her, including her daddy and her uncle. It was a good time.

Oooh, I stole one of DHs pillows last night. Combined with mine and I woke up neck and hip pain free.
He might be down a pillow until the weekend. Well not like he needs it now anyway

three. A contour neck pillow, one between my knees, and one to hug. The one I kind of hug keeps my shoulders aligned better.

We got this mattress 5 years ago, I’m very interested in the bed that KC has, the sleep number thingy.
