Well, we made it home safe and sound. All is well and I read the entire thread that Rossum started about stocking up. Only took me the entire 11ish hour car ride home!! Ooof!

Vacation was lovely! The weather was mostly decent, the food was delicious, cocktails were plentiful and I’m afraid to step on the scale tomorrow morning

Unpacked a couple bags and started on the laundry. Can’t wait to sleep in my own bed tonight. Hope you had a good day, Dale.

Oy vey, that thread kinda got me worried that maybe my stash isn’t quite where it should be. I will have to go through my stuff tomorrow. I don’t even remember half of what I purchased the last time

Good morning Dale no work today. Last day off.

I learned quickly on, to take the day off after we get back from VA. We leave right after breakfast and get home around 6:30 depending on stops. I have to go get some groceries this morning, finish unpacking and laundry. The pool people will be here in a little bit to finalize the plans. There was a cancellation and they are going to start earlier than planned.

I’m excited. Enjoying a cocktail on what could be my last day on the deck. They are going to take it down because of the poor workmanship and eventually would need to be taken down anyway. Better to do it now vs after the pool is in. Such a beautiful day, today.

Oh, I didn’t realize they weren’t with you full time now. That’s cool. No, they will replace the deck with a concrete pad and fence around the pool. We’ll just have to gussy it up with pretty flower pots and furniture.
