All’s well Sara;). Sitting here waiting for the second round.

    Good afternoon Fran
You must have been busy elsewhere ;)
I was. A bit of grocery shopping with Heather first. Then Heather and Megan were in and out for awhile. I got to see Dallas again  After that I've just been a bit lazy. I am trying 2 of my new DIY's and waiting til it's time to put backing potatoes in the oven.

I did some laundry and sugared some more strawberries for shortcake.

    lols, happened before I could post .... 2:45 p.m.

Supposed to do this through Friday although the chances decrease after tomorrow, clear through the weekend and back Monday

Strawberries were pretty good, almost made up for the spaghetti we had ;)

    Good evening lurkers

Mmmm strawberry shortcake. Yum! I would’ve eaten your spaghetti, Dale. We had sausage, purple potatoes and green beans from our garden.
    Good evening Sara

Oh I eat it, it’s just not a favorite. Probably ate too much of it when the kids were small ;)

‘What are these purple potatoes you’re always talking about? :?:

    Good morning lurkers

Next time we cook them I will take a picture. They are higher in antioxidants.
2EF17E1D-8043-4C53-A4A5-BE19D429C670.jpeg We had gotten a bag of mini potatoes once from the grocery store and they were a mix of red, white and purple. So DH ordered some “seeds” and put them in a grow bag. So now we have probably close to 5lbs of purple tates. They taste the same as white but they stay purple after you cook them. Last night we did wedges in the air fryer. I found them to be slightly “chalky” like a baked (which I’m not a fan of) so I will try them mashed next.

Never seen purple tators in the stores here, or a mixed bag of red and white either.

Those look kind of eww, if you hadn’t of told me about them and I’d gotten ahold of one by accident I’d have thrown it in the trash

    Me either.

‘Sounds like you’re up on your feet too much too soon :( I’ve heard that’s a rough procedure to have done.
