In your nightmares
Good afternoon Joey
That’s awful :( Wonder why it won’t heal?
Not sure myself :-x

Good evening Dale and Fran

Hope your trip to the store wasn’t too bad Dale.

Ohhh Joey, that is awful. What did the dr say if this latest round of antibiotics didn’t work?
Did not say anything, office was closed the last two days so can’t do anything until tomorrow

so i've been looking around ever since you were talking about the air fryer/toaster oven....
my toaster oven is....I don't even know how old...at least older than my youngest child  (11+ years)
I've been thinking to replace it, but I mean there's really nothing wrong with it other than it's old and in need of a very through deep cleaning, which I can't do as I'm highly allergic to cleaners (asthmatic and skin allergies)
didn't know that air fryers had evolved into toaster ovens (makes since though) ... even saw some microwave air fryers, but meh...like the idea of being able to do rotisserie.....though I doubt I'll hardly use that feature, still nice to have

and well....if I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it :w00t::lol::w00t: I ain't playing around here :pervy: I wanna cook a turkey in that bad boy
https://www.amazon.com/Galanz-GFSK215S2MAQ18-TotalFry-Technology-Stainless/dp/B086R94H8B/
granted I can't rotisserie the turkey but I can fry it :D

The internal dimensions are 15.7" x 10.2" x 16.2" (W x H x D) so that should be plenty big enough to shove a turkey in there (I hope)....or cook things on different racks at the same time....
and well it's amazon prime day so it's on sale for $170 *ouch* but given it's size I think I'll make use of it often and probably won't be really using my oven...

[edit]just looked at my order and apparently amazon took off an additional $25, so it only ended up being $155 (lol at only)

Great find!! Awesome that amazon took more off!! Love my air fryer!

I was a little disappointed with the amazon prime sales. I did pick up a hand crank/solar radio (thought it would be good to have) and a card game for kiddo for Christmas.

yeah not really any great sales on things
I picked up 8 aa and 8 aaa rechargeable batteries, the airfryer, a meat thermometer (I have no idea what happened to mine), and a set of 4 steak knives (the handles on all of mine broke...I mean they are extremely old, pretty sure they were hand me downs) and a veggie chopper/slicer (again can't find mine but mine wasn't that nice, I may have thrown it away, cheap chinese potato chip maker thingy that was crap)

Just kidding. If you didn’t care for it or use it much might as well pass it on. I’m glad you love the instant pot
There was only one thing we liked from it, fried okra which we rarely have anyway and can be done in the countertop oven ;)

Is the instapot better than an air fryer or crockpot?? I don’t have any counter space left in my kitchen to buy another appliance lol

Dr gave me a different antibiotic and a refill on a pain med ugh no other plan of action right now man this sucks!!!

    Good morning lurkers

Makes sense, Dale. :thumb: We use ours every day to toast English muffin/bagels, for dinner maybe once a week and it came in handy last Thanksgiving to make the green bean casserole.

My co worker loves her instant pot. She uses it a lot. For me, it’s an expensive (got it a few years ago) hard boiled egg and rice maker. I tried a couple things in it: beef roast, chicken tenders and chili. The meat was tough but the chili was good.

IMO it’s only better than an air fryer or crockpot if you get the ninja foodi which supposedly can take the place of all those appliances and even grill indoors. Checked their website and they have a few models which do different things. But I’m sure more companies are heading towards the multipurpose small appliances.

Joey :nun::nun::nun: that these new antibiotics work.
