After a long, dark day of rain we woke up to a faint dusting of snow and sunshine. And some ice of course, it is 32 after all Northern Arkansas got a good amount.

my little heater has been pretty much running nonstop all night
eh i mean ya know it's only currently 28F
it's not doing a great job at warming up the place but it is keeping the chill away....but that's not really the heaters fault....that's just because the living room is an open room, so technically it's trying to heat the living room, kitchen (the kitchen does have a baseboard heater but it hardly works) and hallway, plus my front door has about a 3" gap and no seal around the frame
, but since it leads to an enclosed hallway, they aren't going to fix it...meh won't go there, there's a lot that they were supposed to fix and never did...they don't care...these are low income apartments....

Sorry it’s so cold for you Shad. Any chance you could get a heavy blanket and tack it over the door to keep any drafts out?

Yeah, roll up a blanket and stuff it against that door!

When we were kids, I remember my mom used an old, carrot orange, possibly queen sized blanket. She either stapled it or nailed it above the door frame to our apt. It worked well to catch the drafts. We could duck behind it to enter/exit the apt fairly easy.
