Holiday break is over. Back to work tomorrow. The govt hasn’t extended the childcare/school leave yet so I’ve decided to use my vacation time for the next month when kiddo is home learning. 11 days. I figure, big deal, it’s one year of crappy vacation. I can’t imagine dealing with normal work stress and then coming home and fighting with him about his school work.

He’s such a smart kid but his maturity level is that of a typical 7th grade boy He does not thrive learning at home and needs constant reminders to stay on task. Fingers crossed they extend this leave soon otherwise next month could be total torture for both of us.
