    uff morning
yep my meds worked :p and now I'm just a zombie
much better this morning, back still stiff and sore but better than yesterday
now I just need my back to realign and finish popping back into their places and we'll be good...
    Good afternoon Shad
Glad you’re feeling some better :thumb: I’m sure you’re careful with all those meds ;)

Absolute gorgeous day today. Gonna be hard heading back in after lunch.

Sun is shining, nice breeze. 66 :)
Yay! Similar here minus the breeze.

Like Shad there’s a lot of pollen floating around here, had to keep my mask on while driving home as I had the windows open

    Good evening lurkers

Wow! The pros definitely sound like they outweigh the cons. But I am sorry you have to deal with all that, Shad.

We have the flying pollen too. :glare: Every morning my car is covered in a layer of one kind. I wake up with weird “symptoms” running nose, lots of sneezing, yuck in the back of my throat. Clears up after awhile until I leave the house o_O Never had allergies as a kid except penicillin. Went outside to check the pool, what a mess. The downside to opening early. :nah:

    Good morning Dale

Lol!! You must have eaten something good before bed

Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful weekend. Started the laundry, cleaned my bathroom, soccer game in a bit and then home to clean the pool
    Good morning Sara
It’s pretty and warm here too but clouds forecast for tomorrow.

You’ve been busy! I’ve got a coconut pie in the oven :sneaky:

    it's only day one....
couple hours ago started noticing my throat was swollen and sore, tongue a bit swollen, and feverish
    *sigh*
I mean, I already was prepared to be sick but didn't expect for it to start right freaking away
I mean it's not as bad as it sounds, just annoying at the moment...but again...it's only day one *whine moan groan*

    Good morning lurkers

What Dale said, Shad. Lots of fluids. Pedialyte or any of the “ades” sports drinks if you have them. Heating pad on the injection sight is supposed to help with the soreness if your experiencing that.

Well yesterday turned out to be a poop emoji show. Let’s just say I’m sorta ready for the tween to grow up and move out. Orrrrrrrrr I could just pack a bag and really head out for some of that coconut pie lololol This too shall pass. :thumb:

Hope you all have a lovely day!!

My goodness Shad! Maybe you should call your doctor if it gets much worse? That swelling sounds dangerous.

sorry your day wasn't so great....yeah that's a fun age ain't it though....
thankfully I keep gatorade on hand, I tend to sweat a lot so I need to replenish my electrolytes more than most. I also keep a bottle of pedialyte with prebiotics on hand as part of a drink I make, sort of a v-8+immunity+energy/cure-all
    bottle of vegetable juice
    bottle of orange juice
    bottle of cranberry juice
    bottle of pedialyte with prebiotics
bottle of either bolthouse farms green goodness or naked juice green machine (they're ok on their own too, fruit/veggie drink)
17oz can of coconut water (though that's been harder to find lately)
I have this really big pitcher that I mix those all in together in about equal parts
and then add a splash of apple cider vinegar and aloe vera juice
sometimes I'll add strawberry-kiwi koolaid mix (to help hide the veggie tastes) and a vanilla protein powder, as well as creatine powder, potassium powder, and citrulline malate powder
I don't eat right so might as well drink right :p

it was expected...doc said I'd have swollen lymph nodes
i just didn't expect all this on the first freaking day....
ate a bunch of soup yesterday
ate a bowl of ice cream last night (lol shouldn't have but it felt so good on my throat, not so great on my tummy)
need to do a grocery order today because I have a feeling I'm gonna be eating mostly liquid/soft foods for a while.
