I was able to get in the pool for a couple of hours this afternoon.

Made spaghetti squash with meatballs for dinner and we finished up the corn from yesterday. Yum!! We accidentally planted the squash and got 4 this summer. Mom and bro each took one. It’s so nice when there is enough for us and to share without being over loaded.

Yeah, I’m guessing we’ll get a few weekends in September if it’s not raining. Maybe a day in October but we would most definitely have to turn the heater on. Sometimes you get those really warm fall days. We usually close sometime in October.

Oh that is so cool. I am never going to be an advanced player or anything but I will keep trying as long as I find joy in it. Watching a YouTube tutorial and learning a little something new is relaxing to me. (although I have not had much relaxation lately) I learn a little bit of a song and then my mind drifts or something. I tell people I can't play at their parties but if they ever want to play Name That Tune. . . I'm their girl. heehee The sax is a really cool instrument. Sort of sexy.
I can't remember if I posted it but I went to Walmart this week and bought a new pair of tennis shoes. Dad was in the car waiting so I was rushed and quickly tried them on and then quickly got my groceries. I have Peripheral Neuropathy in my feet and did not realize they were too short until I had walked 10 miles and took my shoes off to find two big toes that were a lovely shade of purple. I will have to get another pair. I needed to walk real bad so I did it barefooted in the grass today and only walked 3 miles. Well, I also have Plantar Fasciitis and tonight it has flared up. I suppose flat-footed people should not walk that far barefooted. I have had cortisone shots in both my feet when it got really bad but this is just a "little" flair-up. I am hoping.
Our power and internet were off today so I thought surely I can get a nap because we have well water and dad we cannot flush. I got all my pillows adjusted and was sound asleep and dad called because he was going to use the urinal and could not get his pants down. I could not go back to sleep so that was why I had to walk. heehee
I could go on and tell you more of the usual weird/stupid things that go on with me if you do not feel better about your day.
I have my yearly physical tomorrow. Boy that is going to be fun with dad. Here lately I have been seriously considering antidepressants.
It may not help but I do not think it would hurt.

Aww Rat2, I’m sorry about your shoes. Kiddo’s podiatrist says walking barefoot is actually better for flat feet. But of course then the fasciitis can flare up He and I were blessed with flat feet from my dad. My arch is small and kiddo’s non existent.
