I was always taught if you did not have something good to say. . . just keep your mouth shut. Guess that's why I have been so quiet. heehee Another challenging week.

I had my yearly physical and just knew with my healthy eating and walking that it was going to be awesome. I would have been wrong. I'll just say "smh" because I do not have enough sense to figure out how to add my rat emojis. Way down on my list of things to worry about though.

Dad had two falls last week. One was not too bad but I had to call for help on the other one. I felt better about not being able to get him up when it took 3 men to do the job. His foot slid under a bar on his lawnmower and I was afraid to move him because it could have been broken. They took him to the ER and I followed as soon as I could. Thank goodness nothing was broken, just bruised up and scuffed. He was glad they did not keep him but I was disappointed because I thought I might get some desperately needed sleep. (insert sad rat) Two nights last week I never got any sleep.

It is really starting to catch up with me and I am at the point where I need some help. I have done pretty darn well for the last 7 years considering I have done it alone but the last two months (65 days) have kicked my you-know-what.

I feel like I have depressed y'all, I am sorry. It just "is what it is". Probably should have just dropped in a said "Hello" to everyone.

Anyway, hope you all have a great week.

Rat2 what kind of friends do you think we are that you can’t share your troubles with? :glare:
‘That said my heart breaks for you. I know you want to be strong and enough for your dad but no one can do it all alone. You definitely must get some help and some sleep, I’m very concerned about your doctors visit:(

    We’re here for you

    Good evening lurkers.

House to myself, kiddo at soccer practice and Dh just left for a meeting. Off work tomorrow for freshman orientation. Can’t believe my kiddo is starting high school. He’s going to be graduated before I know it.

Warmed up some leftover noodles and sauce. Hopefully there is something good on the tv. Lol.

    Hi Sara
Yep once they enter high school it’s about over ;)

Well our promising clouds never produced anything, all cleared away mid morning and now it’s 93 degrees :(
